Lovely people, very welcoming place and fantastic food. Went the extra mile. We will definitely come back again if in the area. Can see the RAF planes from here which is a bonus too. Many thanks!!!

Called in with two soggy dogs and we were made very welcome. Amazing roast beef dinner served quickly - hot and fresh and very large portions.

I'm quite disappointed with this place. Although the drinks were reasonable, the food was overpriced for what we got. My wife got a burger, which tasted very.... ....wrong, I'd say it was microwaved to heat. She felt very dodgy afterwards. I ordered the fish, which was not the best. The chips, however, were very nice.Shame really, as the staff were very friendly and seemed grateful for the custom. I'm sure I'd not visit here again, certainly wouldn't recommend the place....

Found this little pub tonight 14.8.23 the food was lovely sat in a big conservatory over looking the river the landlady went out of her way to serve us food will definitely be coming again thank you lovely pub I would definitely recommend it people

The most friendly and accommodating staff. Went for the carvery and they cooked my vegetarian friend veggy sausages and made alternatives for my friend with allergies. Proper old school carvery. It was lovely!!!

Absolutely Gorgeous food (homemade chips) a rare thing!! quiet and tranquil and welcoming friendly atmosphere and doggy friendly too - my new local! Highly recommend !! very friendly staff and gorgeous scenery next to canal too what more can you ask for ?

Absolutely the best meal I've had ever. Myself and my partner came, had 3 courses which was far too much as portions are massive. Forgot to take decent pictures of the whole meal as was too busy eating it. The staff were so friendly we was served mostly by the young lady who's name we forgot however she was so happy and smiley really made us feel so welcome. This was our first visit but definitely not the last. No one complaint about anything a great place to go.

Great patio area to eat and drink next to the river with relaxing views. Very welcoming and friendly staff, and regulars too. Near to either the start or end point of a walk to Tattershall Castle, besides River Bain, where you see plenty of wildlife. Expect to see planes flying close overhead from nearby RAF Coningsby.

Absolutely disgusting ! After visiting the air base near by I decided to pop in to this pub for a meal and a drink, a fellow plane spotter recommended the packet inn to me so I thought I would give it a go … from the outside it looks like your typical hillbilly village pub and the inside is very reminiscent to a scene from a movie called America werewolf in London, so before I ordered food I decided to nip to the toilets and that’s when my decision was to leave immediately!The reason why was whilst i was having a slash I heard these awful groans from the toilet cubicle, I assume the two men who was satisfying each other that came out of the cubicle wasn’t aware that I was in the toilets too. Not knowing if it was members of staff or just customers I decided I would give the place a very wide berth.
