Had a great time with my partner last weekend. In total there was six of us and Minesh. We cooked two main dishes, the first being a chicken based dish and the second being an aubergine dish. We also a salad side dish and some crepes. All were delicious when we dug in at the end :) You are made very welcome with a little starter and a drink. The steps are clearly explained and you are walked through everything. This is more of a group exercise than individually creating your own dishes. I thought the price of the lesson was very reasonable considering you are in there for four hours! I had a great time and really recommend it to anyone with any level of cooking.

Absolutely beautiful! We had the Pork Belly Vindaloo for two. With one or two more side dishes, there's easily enough for three people. The Vindaloo" isn't what you see in everyday restaurants. The spicing was quite mild but the flavours were simply stunning! The pork belly was strips so they were crispy yet moist. The accompanying sauces (which you have to make from scratch using the supplied ingredients) were like something I've never eaten before!Brilliant

We had the best day at Kari Club! We learned to make two different dishes (as we had meat eaters and vegetarians in our group) and we also learned to make chapatis, a beautiful salad and the perfect rice :) we all ate together at the end and Minesh was such a great host and teacher! We will definitely be returning to learn some more recipes. We learned so much about traditional Indian cooking and we will be really proud to make everything we learned for our friends and family.

My partner and I had a great curry cookery class with Minesh at The Kari Club. The 3 hours was just about right and the setting was relaxed and intimate. I enjoyed learning about when to add spices and aromatics to Indian food. The flavours were delicious. Particularly enjoyed rolling out and cooking a chapati! A good afternoon.

I came for the cookery course and had a fantastic time. Manesh is a great teacher, taking us through the recipes and the different cooking traditions of India. He was also very helpful with ideas for substitutions for food allergies. Highly recommended.

We had an absolutely fantastic time at Minesh's Indian cookery class in Brighton recently. We made an entire meal - Mamaji's chicken, sweet potato & carrot thoran, cumin & bay leaf basmati rice, and chapatis - which was absolutely delicious. We had no prior experience with any kind of Indian cooking (but lots of experience eating it!) and learned so much throughout the class. The best part is that because we talked through each step along the way, tasting and smelling as we went, I really do think I'll be able to recreate Mamaji's chicken at home myself.Minesh was a brilliant instructor and I'd highly recommend his class to anyone who enjoys cooking - or just eating - delicious food.

Really enjoyed the cookery class. A great hands on experience. Minesh was an informative tutor who gave us lots of tips. The meal at the end of the class was delicious...even got to take some food home! Looking forward to using the recipe cards to try to recreate the dishes in my own kitchen.

I bought this Indian cooking experience as a gift for my husband - it was a great afternoon, informative and enjoyable. Minesh tells great little stories and anecdotes to bring a personal element to the experience. We made some delicious food and sat together to enjoy and chat. I would recommend and hope Minesh gets a cookery book published soon!

Minesh is extremely passionate and knowledgable in his delivery of a quite brilliant cooking class. I have learnt a lot, especially about the importance of fresh ingredients and taking care and patience with them. End result was fantastic tasting real Indian food that I will enjoy trying to make again at home!Throughly recommend this to anyone, definitely suitable for all abilities as you are guided by Minesh all the way through.

Really loved my afternoon learning about indian food and what it takes to cook it properly. The end result was so delicious. Minesh is a lovely chap and great teacher, obviously passionate about what he does and that definately shows in the food he produces.Thank you so much - have already recommended your private cookery lessons to my friends. Oh and we are having another mamagi's curry for tea tonight cooked in my amazing new pot!Highly recommend.
