I had a fabulous Anagama experience at Phoenix Pottery which is set in beautiful grounds with the kiln at the end of a large garden. We brought pieces from the UK and were able to build new pieces while we were there which were all fired in the kiln. We had a three day firing where we were able to experience the process and immerse ourselves into the rhythms of the kiln. When our work was drying and the kiln cooling we managed to go on some trips to temples and a great bird reserve. We also met lots of interesting people.I would have liked the accommodation to have been closer to the pottery.

Ravi not only looks at what plant needs to go into the pot but the mood , aesthetic sense , genera sensibilities of the client and incorporates our ideas and his own experience and the result as you can see below is amazing !!

As a professional of creative arts, Ravi’s pottery making resonated with me. Upon arrival of the pots ordered, the family decided to place them with bonsai plants on the mantel above the brick fireplace. The earth colors blend nicely with my living room décor. It was as if my vision coincided with the creative artwork of Ravi’s designs. I savor every sip of coffee from the beautifully designed turquoise mugs also. I now wonder what he has in store next. Wishing Ravi all the very best in his “one of a kind” artwork.

Had my daughter’s birthday party here. It was amazing. The children loved making the pots and seeing the kiln. The venue is amazing and so different to other pottery venues. Everyone felt welcome

I’ve now purchased 2 items off Vana . A pair of goblets which are our go-to when my wife and I are drinking some wine . More recently i surprised my wife with a pony tail palm beautifully potted by Ravi in an earthern pot that looks like the extension of the trunk of the palm itself . My wife was always keen on a bonsai and this made her very happy . This creation by Vana is beautiful and takes Center stage in our lounge

Ordered a set of Beer Steins from Vana pottery. All hand made and each of a different design.Absolutely love them. The colors and patterns are unique. The beer stays cool in them for quite some time. Absolutely love them. Looking forward to ordering all kinds of handmade stuff from Ravi at Vana pottery.Also loved the carefully designed and custom made plantar. I’m a fan of the color Indigo and he got it just right.Wish it was local to US so I can indulge more but definitely worth it.

We had a great time at Vana Pottery with our book club group. The workshop is amazing and Ravi was brilliant at letting us explore the clay. He was there to give advice when needed but also let us express ourselves the way we wanted. We had the most wonderful and fun evening and will definitely be back
