Pod Point Charging Station

With a rapid, 2x 7kw and 22kw chargers I used this site to top up whilst heading north. Someone was already using the rapid when i arrived so I topped up on one of the 22 posts until they moved. The posts are free other than the rapid which at this time is still a favourable 28p per kw, much cheaper than the competition.

The charging posts stood tall and proud as we turned the corner into the Tesco car park. However, as we ventured closer we were saddened to discover that the rapid unit was already in use by a big beautiful red MG. Graciously, we conceded that the slow charger would have to do, pulling up and plugging in, which was a straightforward process. All in all a positive charging experience marred only by the fact that another traveller had beaten us to the rapid post. It's very pleasing to see pod point beginning to add rapid chargers at these Tesco locations.
