Adventure Hire Slimbridge

My daughter Lily and I went canoeing recently and it was a brilliant experience! Now that Lily has started secondary school, it’s difficult to find activities that she wants to do with me. She loved this so much!

Myself, my husband and our dog Dylan had a brilliant morning canoeing with Adventure Hire Slimbridge. We contacted them as we wanted to take our dog out on a canoe for the first time. They responded very quickly and positively about us bringing our dog. The set up was very efficient and the setting on the canal was lovely. They were helpful with us preparing Dylan for getting in/out and the photos they took of us were very professional and free! I would recommend this experience and we will be back! Thank you!

Went on Sunday with my partner a very good experience doing canoeing. Our guide was nice and talkative. I was quite nervous but he made me feel comfortable and was very helpful with instructing us on what to do. The trip itself was good we were on the canal for an hour and a half with a bit of wind but was nice and peaceful. Fun time out, Would recommend.

Absolutely fantastic! Lovely people, who were very accommodating when we were late for our slot. We really enjoyed our experience on the water and would highly recommend. We will definitely be returning!

Great afternoon hiring the 2 person canoe. The canal is really picturesque and quiet and the owners couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. Will definitely go back again and confident to recommend it to anyone considering hiring!

Super helpful folks. Wasn’t even using their services, but they went out their way to help & sure I didn’t fall foal of the parking, allowed us use of their power to pump up mine & my sons own SUP’s.Just all round nice people.

Faultless from start to finish. Super friendly, accomodating owners with heaps of local knowledge to help you see some of the best local sights.We spent the day cycling along the canal which was was great fun. We managed to visit the boat graveyard, Frampton and nearly got all the way up yo Gloucester all in a couple of hours. It was easy to navigate and take in the fantastic scenery. Bikes were really comfortable and well maintained. Helmets and locks were provided which ment we could get lunch by the side of the canal knowing that the bikes were safe.When we come back we'll be aiming to be out one the water in on of the cannoes.Thank you Adventure Hire Slimbridge for a great day out.

From start to finish, Sally and co were a joy to deal with. Was booked up swiftly for the 90min canoeing with just a simple phone call. Excellent communication throughout. The experience was magical, well briefed and organised. If you want to row in peace at your pace while appreciating the local nature - then this is the place to go. Thank you both so much for being lovely! Recommend a tea and cake at the Black Shed after!!

Lovely service and people who helped us with the hire of a bike. Guided us to good places to cycle and were super friendly.Upon return, they had taken photos for us and sent them to us. Would certainly recommend this to anyone looking to ride along the canals and have a peaceful ride through the local villages.
