Repaired the broken main board on my TV within a week, for a very reasonable price - much cheaper than getting a new TV and throwing out something that can be fixed. Very happy with the service and would recommend them to anyone.

Recently took in a Technics tape deck dating back to the 70's on behalf of relatives, they asked me to leave this feedbackThe sound is superb - as good as ever. It has a nice warm sound once again. The people you took it really knew what they were doing and a lot of pride and attention has gone into restoring it.We had a long time ago taken it to another place in Edinburgh, who said that this could not be fixed, so please pass this on to all the staff at Moving Pictures who went to all the effort to restore the tape deck that it is wonderful to have this fully operational again.I am so pleased indeed that there is a shop that does what it takes to source parts and restore such electronics.

TV repair. This place was great! I filled out their online form, which is good at setting expectations of timelines. Everyone told me just buy a new TV but I'm so glad I didn't. Trying to be more sustainable, these guys fixed my TV and it's good as new, also cheaper than buying a new TV. Not only that but they talk you through the repair, they really know what they're doing. And they came out (free I may add) took my TV away from my third floor flat, repaired it and brought it back. Best decision I ever made.Thank you.

Absolutely fantastic experience in using this business to transfer VHS videos, DVDs and camcorder cassettes onto USBs. Alistair completed the job in faster than expected time as he was aware that it was for a special occasion. The customer service that I was given exceeded my expectations and I would recommend them to anyone.

Great service and really helpful. Had all our almost 60 year old cine films put on CDs and memory sticks. So pleased that they were done locally and not shipped elsewhere to be processed. Made so many 80+ year olds and family members so very happy. Just wish I had done it sooner! Thanks so much for looking after our memories so carefully.

What an amazing service. Taking some 30 years of my children's family history on film to digital was held in careful hands with Moving Pictures. They were great to deal with and gave beyond expectation results. They handled my precious vhs memories with care and attention, cataloguing and referencing the 40 tapes for ease of referencing.I had researched giving this commission to online companies but I wanted to feel safe that the 'memories' would not be lost so having face-to-face reassurance was incredibly valuable.Great value and service, I couldn't recommend them highly enough.Lorna

Had given my 4k short throw projector to repair. Julian who I think is the owner communicated very well and completed the repair as promised. 5 star service with excellent customer service. The fees charged was reasonable and have no complaints at all.. would definitely visit again if required
