Frogmore Paper Mill

When to a craft day and a food and beer night there last weekend. Was such a good time. If you get the chance try and make it to any event they have going. Usually a pound or two entry and so worth it. Great stalls lovely people and they have a cafe area if you need to have a seat.

Excellent! We visited Frogmore Paper Mill for the First Wedding Anniversary package and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The day began with the interesting and informative tour of the old mill, where it was great to see the current working mill in comparison to the older equipment. After the tour, we were invited for a glass of bubbly and a private tutored paper making class where we made our own cotton-based paper by hand. We embedded all sorts of materials into our paper which was then pressed, dried, printed and posted out to us. The whole experience was perfect from start to finish!

Very interesting industrial museum and operating printworks. The guided tour is very well run and there is a nice cafe at the end. Plus shop to purchase all types of printed paper, cards, etc. On weekdays I believe there is a canal boat that does short trips. The building however is in the main unheated, so wrap up in the winter!! Worth another visit

Very interesting, good museum whilst waiting for tour, that then covers the processes from early history through examples made to the huge machines still in original setting. Ending in cafe it took 2.5 hours, and we didn't do the boat trip.A shame only open Thursday's, taken 3 trips to area to time right and on our visit the WW2 part & fire engine etc wasn't available. However for children, craft days etc.

Lovely space to put on a show. Saw Rent here last night, I’ve never experienced a show in this way but it was great. We followed the production around and it flowed very well. The cast were amazing and the staff were friendly.

This is such a interesting place and the volunteers make it so good. We also had a ride on a small barge on the canal with a fish and chip lunch. 1st class day and well worth a visit.

Fantastic day I discovered so much about how such a simple thing as paper had a profound effect on social an economic development. Highly recommended for all children from 6 to 106!

Fascinating place, enjoyed my visit and the chance to make paper myself.

I discovered that they run drawing sessions. Hopefully I can fill the lovely paper on sale with drawings.
