Sugar Skull Tattoo Studio

Everyone in the studio was super friendly and chatty as well as having answers to all my questions. My artist was Diego who came up with a few different designs for my tattoo with no pressure to alter my original design. He is amazing at what he does and made every tiny adjustment for me without a fuss - such as removing and reapplying the stencil when I wasn’t happy with where I originally wanted. Diego was very efficient and accurate with his work and a very easy person to talk to, it didn’t feel like I was in as long as I was. From what I saw in the studio, every artist is extremely talented and has a high standard of work to meet which Diego certainly did.Adrian was very efficient with replying to my emails and double checked with me to make sure my tattoo was healing and looking as it should. Overall a great studio which is ran how it should be, absolutely no complaints or issues from myself and I will 100% be back for any future tattoos.

I had a full sleeve tattooed at Sugar Skull over 5 sessions between October and November and the whole process from start to finish was excellent. Adrian is quick to respond to e-mails, makes booking sessions and paying deposits easy and sends plenty of confirmations and reminders too. The team in the studio are really friendly and always interested in what you are getting done. Joey who does initial consultations is incredibly helpful and works hard to understand your concept and find examples of similar work before recommending an artist. My artist was Shane, and it didn’t take long for us to understand each other. I’m a control freak and he’s a straight talker so he kept me on track with retaining the celtic style I wanted and what was possible with the arm, how it moved and my skin. I had a very clear design for the lower arm, and he helped to tailor it to my arm to ensure the meaning behind the art was fully captured. From those early sessions it was clear how passionate Shane is about creating something unique for his clients and seeing first-hand what a talented artist he is, I trusted his opinion on how the rest of the arm should look. The result is truly special and way beyond what I hoped it could ever look like. The biggest recommendation I can give is that my kids want a tattoo when they turn 18 next year and this is the only studio I’ll be taking them to.

Just had my first tattoo and glad I chose Sugar Skull. Everyone was so friendly and professional from Adrian who I dealt with by email , Joey on the front desk who did my initial consultation and offered excellent advice (and good coffee) to Cesar the incredibly talented artist who did my tattoo. I was booked in for a 6 hr session and had no idea what to expect but the time flew by as Cesar is such a friendly decent guy with very interesting chat. I'm so pleased with my tattoo and would recommend Sugar Skull and will be back for more.

I got my first tattoo done at Sugar Skull and I can say it has been a very positive experience throughout the whole Process. Adrian was quick to respond via email to any enquieries and offered me full support. Joey held my initial consultation and guided me through my ideas and how it could work out in the end. Finally, Danny was the artist who did the tattoo and I can say I am very happy with how it turned out. He listened to my thoughts and concerns and was generally a very pleasant person to talk to. He took away my nervousness and made my first tattoo experience a very positive one. I would recommend Sugar Skull Tattoo to anyone looking to get a tattoo in Glasgow. :)

Amazing service from start to finish. Would recommend this amazing shop to anyone looking for tattoo work especially for first time customers. The online booking service was very quick and efficient and during my consultation Joey on front desk, he was very attentive and accommodating finding me the perfect artist to design and do my sleeve. As this was my first tattoo Joey was also very informative, letting me know what to expect from my sessions and answering any questions I had. Shane the artist has been fantastic throughout my sessions, his commitment and attention to detail has been impeccable and I am over the moon with my full sleeve.

I have been planning a trip to Scotland for years, and knew I had to get a tattoo of my Scottish family crest while there. I did a little research, found Sugar Skull, and reached out to schedule an appointment. The entire experience was better than I could have hoped for. Adrian was so accommodating to work with me online (since I live in America). And my artist, Cesar, did the BEST work! I would have made the trip from the US just for this tattoo, such an amazing experience. Go get your next piece done at Sugar Skull!

Sugar Skull provides an excellent service!!They are all extremely helpful with all aspects of customer service covered from setting up the initial appointment, getting the tattoo done and also after care for the tattoo.My tattoo was done by Sam who is a really nice guy and the actual tattoo is amazing!!!I got the bottom half of my tattoo added to my previous tattoo (see attached photo)Cannot be happier with Sugar Skull and will definitely go back for more.Highly recommended!!!Thank you guys

Cesar ( my tattoo artist) contacted me several days before our appointment with ideas and exactly how it would pan out, which I found excellent!I found my experience on the day great, with Cesar determined to get everything exact and up to his high standards!Delighted with outcome and have had many compliments.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
