Andrew Walker Ceramics is a fantastic resource for anyone interested in playing with clay from the beginner (like me) to the expert. Andrew himself is super friendly, knowledgable and helpful. He runs classes and also allows people to use his studio and all the materials as their own on a paying subscription basis. I go to Andrew to fire my pieces and he always helps me with advice and tips. Thank you Andrew! You’re the best!

I recently completed a beginners pottery course at Andrew's Ceramics and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! Andrew's explained all the basics, ensuring that even those of us who had never touched clay before could follow along seamlessly. The atmosphere in the class was warm and inviting, I would highly recommend this beginners pottery class to anyone interested in exploring the art of pottery.

I took Andrew's workshops during and after my pregnancy, It was so therapeutic during a hard pregnancy and i have life long skills and made some beautiful ceramics. Andrew is a wonderful teacher, makes everyone feel welcome and so charismatic and very helpful especially if you're a beginner. I would recommend his classes to everyone.

Andrews studio is very beautiful and full of delights. The facilities are great and there is easy parking. I went from knowing nothing at all about ceramics to enjoying my session with him so much that I booked a private party from my 40th. For those of you who are neuro diversion, you will feel safe and looked after by Andrew. I have autism and ADHD and chronic fatigue syndrome. Andrew was kind and compassionate and caring and have buckets full of patients for my long list of questions and excitable behavior. I cannot recommend him enough and I cannot wait to make something cool with him again.

Andrew is an exceptionally warm, down-to-earth, and talented creator. My partner bought me his six week hand building workshop and I absolutely loved it. Having never done any hand building before, Andrew guided me through a variety of hand building techniques, before nurturing me through my final project. A great course and a great guy. It was the most wonderful experience completing a six week course with Andrew. In fact, so good I went back and did another one. I learnt some new skills, met some fantastic people and made some things I was really proud of. The studio is peaceful and welcoming and I looked forward to returning every week. Highly recommended!

I spent a few hours creating sgraffito tiles at Andrew’s studio for an art project. It was a steep learning curve, but Andrew was a wonderfully supportive tutor, whose patience, encouragement and good humour made the experience both rewarding and enjoyable. His studio is neatly organised and well-resourced and I hope to have the opportunity to return in future. Thank you Andrew for providing a great learning experience!

Me and my sister came to Andrew's mug making class and really enjoyed the experience. Both classes (it was a two-parter) were chilled out, fun and in a nice setting with a good group size. Andrew was friendly, patient, helpful and a good laugh! Really happy with my mug and pleased to have built it myself when other classes I've been to have just been painting. Would certainly recommend :)

Great studio to learn how to pot! Andrew is lovely, very friendly and very knowledgable. The studio is well equipped and a nice space to be in. I've really enjoyed learning how to work with clay and develop my skills. Andrew runs classes and courses in specific pottery creations / techniques, and also runs an open-access studio - both are great and would highly recommend!
