Grafham Water Centre set up a bell tent village to expand its provision of school groups and individual bookings in April 2022. To do this we purchased 10 bell tents, with porches, matts and lanterns from Life Under Canvas. The reason we went with Life Under Canvas is that the initial conversation around products was fantastic, with detailed advice and competitive pricing. Everything was delivered quickly and the follow up support excellent. The bell tents were up for 6 months and very well used by our customers. We are very pleased with the aesthetics, durability and quality of products. Grafham Water Centre had a business plan, Max and his team at Life Under Canvas sold us a product which made this work. Our 4m bell tent is so amazing I'm tempted to leave it up in the garden all year. The kids love it for sleepovers! We recently took it camping and it was so quick and simple to put up, didn't cause any arguments (!) and made us look like we were really clever campers. The comfy foldable bamboo chairs helped too. Definitely recommend this company.

After spending our honeymoon in a luxury bell tent, I brought a 4x4m bell tent with a log burner and fitted carpets.Happy to leave a review after owning for a year with many trips away all over the country.Lovely and warm, being able to stay away in the autumn and spring thanks to the log burner.Quality canvas and very well made, highly recommended anyone thinking of buying one.A great investment, the kids love it!

Dear Life Under Canvas.I just wanted to write to thank you for a truly excellent service. I decided to buy a tent with a stove for my daughters 30th Birthday and it was a bit of a minefield online to find the right package. I decided to call and have a chat to get some advice. Max talked me through all the options without selling to me and recommended a particular set up based on my needs. The delivery arrived on the date promised and the product was magnificent. My daughter was delighted.Now, here’s the really impressive bit. I'd ordered a tent stove and when I opened the box it had been dropped (by the courier) causing a dinge in the corner of the stove. I emailed Max and he apologised and organised for a replacement to be sent out and the defective stove to be collected. The new stove is perfect and my daughter and her family are off for their first camping trip next week.There are plenty of companies online that will sell you a tent for a few quid cheaper but Life under Canvas is a family firm with real values and integrity.We’ll done guys. Absolute refusal to accept that their product could have any potential defect or flaw. Refusing to replace tent under the warranty, despite repeated flooding. Initially refused to pay for collection and has just phoned to say that they have not and will not test the product or replace, as it's wet. Well, of course it is! This has gone on for over a month and their reasons for the flooding have varied from sun damage to the grass being too long! Never have they considered the possibility that the product has a fault. Either way, this product has been used on two occasions and is not fit for purpose. I think we can all agree that that's well in the confines of 'fair use'. The onus is on the seller to repair or replace. I am having to seek recompense through my credit card or, as they told me, through small claims. Disgusting way to treat customers. Do you want to take the risk?

Due to multiple courier issues my relatively small order went missing in the run up to Christmas. When the courier wouldn't answer calls or emails, these guys were more than happy to chase it up from their side, providing regular updates to emails and friendly calls throughout the holidays and into the new year, until it was finally tracked down and delivered. Excellent customer service throughout, when other, larger, companies have (and did!) said Not My Problem and sent me back to the courier to sort out.

Had the pleasure of staying in a ‘Life Under Canvas’ 4M Bell Tent whilst attending HowTheLightGetsIn Festival and it made the whole experience even better!Such a great design with plenty of room for a small family, really solid/well constructed that I can imagine lasting for years if well maintained.Can’t speak highly enough of the product/company.
