I got ALL MY MONEY STOLEN, all my belongings had been moved or touched and my toilette had been used and left very dirty, on the same day that the staff came into my room to bring something in. When trying to solve the situation with the management I personally found them unwilling to help. They also threatened to sue me for false accusations. For legal reasons, I have to say that I have no evidence it was the staff, and therefore I am not accusing them, but I am clearly stating that this event took place on the same day they they went into my room.

If I there was an option for zero stars I would have selected it. I don’t know where to start from:1. Fire alarms go off on wrong occasions all the time2. Aisles always dirty3. Laundry room disgusting, flooded and machines don’t always work.4. I had no hot water for 2 months and they were always “coming to fix it”5. My room flooded like 2 times6. Maintenance invades in your room all the time without being respectful7. Security not doing its job, literally anyone can enter the building8. Infrastructures are awful, everything is so sensitive and breaks easily9. Elevator mostly out of use most of the time10. When there’s ongoing construction they block everything and workers don’t follow safety measures once I was almost hit by a metallic bar.The list could go on and on but I’m tiredDONT GO THERE!!!

Took them the duration of my entire tenancy to fix the Wi-Fi (for which they were still charging me for) - I reported it on the 1st July and they sent someone to fix it on the 11th September. Room and kitchen were filthy when I arrived. Made complaint about the state of the room to no answer.

Best bando ever, staff are very friendly (Ibrahim what a g) had the best 9 months of my life here!! Don’t think your flatmates are your only choice of friends, you’ll meet new people everyday even after 6 months!

Kinda like a trap house but at the same time the best place ever, not confined to your flat so get to socialise with everyone, no money was ever stolen or robbed!!!! Great location by the canal, one of the best years of my life!!!!!! Will miss this place

It was certainly an experience. Ive raised about 40 complaints about my time at Cross Court, from a neighbor who dared her friends to bang on my door at 3am to being assaulted in the kitchen after I walked in on a drug deal. Price is good, its subsidised by City so don't expect to stay here after your first year. At least it isn't Arbour, but it's just as unsafe.

Had a neighbour who stayed here with his cash stolen. Service is very bad and the staff doesn’t really care about your concerns. If you are planning to stay here, I would say that it is not worth saving a few dozen pounds to risk having your valuables stolen and/or deal with very low standard service. The stuff threatened to report us to the police for “false” allegations but the truth is the cash was stolen so even the property should at least review the CCTV

The issues raised by Ch. Wilkinson just a few days ago closely mirror my own experience. We intend to request a refund, as there is a clear breach of contract in various aspects. There is a compelling case for shutting down these facilities due to their unsanitary conditions, which simply cannot go unaddressed. Students should not have to endure subpar conditions. The refrigerators emit unpleasant odors, and the cooking hobs are both rusty and pose a fire hazard, which is likely why intrusive fire alarms are constantly activated.this place is truly insecure on top of it!

It's alright, it is student halls so you cant expect much. Lived here for 2 months in summer whilst on an internship down in London. Covered my needs for that. The lock on my door was incredibly dodgy but did the job. There was a cleaner who would give the surfaces a wipe and mop the floor, i appreciated it but it was quite annoying too. Id do the dishes in the morning and leave them to dry, then there would maybe be a knife left over that i missed, or if i made sandwiches after, would leave it in the bowl or the other side of the sink to where my clean stuff was drying, but without fail everyday I'd come back to the dirty stuff mixed in with the clean and would thus have to re-wash. It was just a pain! She also mopped me into a corner once which i didnt appreciate and there were two bins in our kitchen, one for recycling and one for general wastr. However i was annoyed to learn that the cleaner just mixes the bags up when they throw them out... what's ths point in recycling?!All in all, it's okay, but i wouldn't want to live there long term
