Well wasn’t expecting that. Went for the afternoon as was told how good it was. Well we wasn’t disappointed. The museum was so much to see. The volunteers were very knowledgeable and speaking to the owner Paul was a privilege and so so interesting. The cafe is lovely and will not rip you off. At £6 entry will definitely visit again and again

Very friendly, and helpful staff of the museum! It have some nice variety of unique and interesting WW2 historical exhibits/pieces. From: guns of WW2 (you can touch them and inspect them in person, plus there is some friendly and helpful historical museum guides which gladly help you), military uniforms from WW2, classical cars, sometimes live singers/performers, etc. There is a public toilets, and a coffee shop as well. All in all definitely worth to check it out, visit, and explore! and get in touch with WW2 history if you like this kind of things! Ticket prices is very fair deal and good value for money! My verdict would be - 7.5/10 (good one) definitely recommend it! :)

I had no idea of just how much love and passion has gone into this fantastic museum. The sheer amount of things to look though is unbelievable. The whole place is so clean and tidy, and everyone there is so friendly and personable. If there were only more people like them. Will definitely visit again, and would highly recommend anyone to go and see for themselves. Thank you to Paul & Linda.

My wife bought me a voucher last Christmas for an hour flight in the Lancaster simulator, we arrived early and was given a very warm welcome and were told that I could go straight in as the simulator was unoccupied. I was given a full brief on how things worked and during the flight was given clear instructions on my headings. I absolutely thought I was flying this iconic aircraft as it feels so real. Afterwards we headed to the cafe and had a lovely lunch and hot drink before going around the whole museum. I can absolutely recommend you visit this place. I would like to say to Paul, Linda and the team We will meet again" as we will be back in the future

The knowledge, dedication and enthusiasm in the manning and running this delightful place is amazing. Gathering this collection of exhibits, artefacts and memorabilia takes real commitment and our history should really be preserved in many more such places. Delightful cafe and very reasonable prices. Worth a visit.

We went for a visit yesterday and it is such a lovely museum, a wonderful way to spend a few hours whilst on holiday, the volunteers are so helpful and friendly, I managed to book my son a slot on the Lancaster simulator (many thanks to Paul) and he loved it, I would thoroughly recommend this museum for a visit.

What a fantastic place to visit, I cann't say how good it is, so much stuff there to see and the staff are so knowledgeable and enthusiastic that you can spend hours chatting and learning. Went with a friend who was going on the Lancaster simulator and again it exceeded all expectations, he said it was so real that he just lost himself in the experience as it was so realistic. If you are in the area then do make the effort to visit you will not be disappointed.

Visited during a 40's weekend, but a very interesting place to go. Open on Fridays, Saturday and Sunday. The cafe is excellent.

walking the UK Coastline and came across this place on my Lincolnshire section. What a find !I arrived late in the evening and was met by some lovely volunteers who quickly showed me around and gave me a well needed cup of tea.I was so impressed that I returned some weeks later with plenty of time to take in the wonderful collection of memorabilia that is housed in this fascinating museum.What a delight to wander round and speak with the very knowledgeable staff about all the exhibits.This is a must visit destination and one to behold when you consider it all started as a hobby.Well done to all and special thanks to Des for showing me such friendliness and hospitality.
