Lovely place to eat breakfast/ lunch. Friendly staff, variety of food is good and service and value very good. Delicious

Great food but cash only.No sign on the door or front windows to warn, no one told us at any point until we went to pay.Card payments would cost maybe 1.25 - 2% max. Won't be visiting again. Can't believe the business will survive long term unless they start taking card payments.This is 2023, not 1953.Cafe was 50% full but the hr we we there all 6 tables were reserved with a window / street view but no one sat there before we left.As I say great food buy shabby business model.

Good breakfast here. Lots of choice and all cooked well. One thing to remember if going is Cash only so keep that in mind.

Food good, service good, but wouldn't take card payment. Cash only ! No prior notice on door or window, not even in menus print. Only small notice in front of cash desk. Lucky I had some cash, otherwise they just wouldn't have got paid. I only use bank card through mobile phone, and I can't put that in a cash machine. This is extremely bad business practice. First visit -- last visit.

We stopped off here on a cycle ride for some light refreshment. Busy but understaffed little cafe, we were told someone would come to take our order, but no one did (sat out side) so chased up twice. Eventually we got our order in of two cappuccino and two toasted tea cakes, we were then told there was no tea cakes, so given option of carrot cake or passion fruit cheese cake, decided to chance on both, my carrot cake was ok but had better! My husband's cheese cake was frozen! Solid! The coffee was nice thankfully. When we went to pay it was cash only!! Would have been better we had been informed of this before ordering as we often only carry a credit card when cycling, luckily I had an emergency note shoved in my phone which just covered it, I was going to complain about the cheesecake but the staff where running around like headless chickens and I felt it would have been fairly pointless. I think it could have been better for a few more pairs of hands to help service the customers who had all come for brunch on this lovely sunny Sunday. Shame. Seemed relatively covid safe, mask and face screen wearing, and regular table sanitizing, but the handling of cash from customers by the till personal who then jumped from the till to serving plates of food to tables without sanitizing after handing the cash from various costumers would cause me great concern. Staff were very polite and friendly, I feel this is a management issue and there should have been more staff.
