Our experience buying an engagement ring from Derek was absolutely everything we could have asked for. His price was more than fair for an antique ring, the quality of which was wonderful. We initially took the train up to Inverness to view the ring we first saw online, and Derek even offered to meet us at the train station so we wouldn’t have to pay for a taxi to his house along the water.After professionally sizing the ring for my fiancée at his home, he was also fortunately able to have it resized by his jeweller due to his resizing orders from The Royal Highland Show the weekend before.All in all, Derek was so friendly, professional, caring, and considerate during the entire process. We’ve given his business card to as many of our friends back in Edinburgh/Dundee as we could. We can recommend him highly enough.

I bought the most fabulous sapphire ring from Derek at Burghley horse trials, it was too small, but Derek said no problem leave it with me, he took it home to Scotland altered the size to make larger at no extra cost and sent to me special delivery in 3 days!!.
