Regen Physio Alwoodley

I received treatment from Ethan at Regen Physio over the course of 9 months following a knee injury and operation, with Ethan providing a physio programme to support me both pre and post-surgery. Ethan has listened attentively to everything I have discussed with him, talked me through every creak, crack, twinge and niggle in my knee and sorted out treatment plans to help me reach each stage of my recovery – from walking without a limp, to going up and down stairs confidently, to being able to run for the bus (or out of a burning building in an emergency!). He has adapted and tweaked my exercises to ensure they have continued to work for me and with my lifestyle, coming up with different ways to achieve results if a particular movement was proving uncomfortable or difficult – even getting on the treadmill next to me whilst in the gym so that I didn’t feel embarrassed. More than anything he also helped to rebuild my confidence and ‘retrain my brain’ to realise that my knee could be trusted to do what it needed to do again. And on top of all that he is just a really, really nice bloke – he is super easy to talk to, he made me feel at ease from day 1 and he made me believe that I could and would get there. Ethan, thank you so, so much – you are an absolute legend!!

I went to Ethan at regen after injuring myself running. In the first meeting he listened and investigated, and diagnosed exactly what I'd done, then talked me through the plan to get me fixed. He worked to my goals, which were very ambitious, in terms of getting back to exercise as quickly as possible. His knowledge levels were incredible - he clearly enjoys his job!Every week he allowed me to ask (lots) of questions and he helped with all aspects of the recovery from my Achilles injury. He got me fixed ahead of schedule.In short. If you have a sports injury and went to get better quicker. Go see Ethan!!!

I've used Regen 3 times (all for seperate unrelated injuries) most recently with Ethan. Each time my issues have been sorted through first class treatment as well as advice given for exercises. At the end of each treatment period I was given sound advice as to what to do to allow my progress to continue especially so this time with Ethan. The physios are very professional and also nice people to chat to whilst your treatment is ongoing. Although I don't plan/hope to visit for physiotherapy again it's by far and away my first choice for physio in Leeds.

I've been to Regen Physio three times in the last couple of years with different issues and have always had good treatment and care. My most recent sessions with Ethan have been great and I've really appreciated the advice and help Ethan has provided. My problem symptoms are much improved as a result. Ethan has been absolutely brilliant in my rehab from a torn achilles. In the last few months he has got me from barely standing to running, ballet and football again. He has advised when to push and when to move slowly and I cannot recommend him enough. I had thought that this injury would never heal fully and am delighted to be able to continue with my active life again. Thank you
