Birdholme Glamping

We stayed Friday- Monday and had the best time! Our cabin was absolutely spotless, the grounds are beautiful, it's so peaceful & relaxing. I would highly recommend Birdholme and will 100% be returning.

We had a wonderful weekend at this fantastic lodge celebrating my sister's 40th birthday. It really felt like we could've been on safari in Africa. Sitting on the huge deck or in the hot tub with a glass of wine watching the sunset was blissful. The lodge is luxurious, comfy beds, has everything you need and is of high quality. Cooking around the fire pit was great with the sun setting behind. Highly recommend Birdholme. Amazing!

We booked this holiday as a chance to spend some quality time together as a family and also have the option to bring the dog which made the holiday feel like a whole family getaway. The accommodation is set up in a way that you have everything you need to self cater for the family. We are out at a few local dog friendly pubs but to be honest just loved having time at Birdholme. The mornings were by far my favourite, the accommodation doesn’t have curtains in the bedrooms which meant the daylight will wake you up, which I loved, my teenage daughter not so much! But watching the sunrise on the decking with a coffee and hearing nothing but the wildlife was truely awesome. I have already recommended this to friends and family and we are already looking to rebook for next year. If you’re looking for a get away from everything to spend quality time with loved ones and need a dog friendly option….this is it! Thanks Birdholme

A well thought out luxury retreat. We felt very relaxed with the hot tub, views and country environment. Our dogs enjoyed the break too. Our 4 nights there ended all too quickly.

Lovely glamping location. It's luxurious accommodation and ours would fit 2-6 people. The hot tub outside was absolutely the best part of the place. They are dog friendly and provided some dog accessories- towel, bed etc. Walking areas around are nice.Some negatives though-They want check out by 10am and only let you check in at 4pm. That almost cheats you of half a day. Very unfair, we thought. Also for a luxurious" glamping place that you pay quite a bit for- they still want you to strip the sheets and take all your garbage out to the main disposal areas when you leave. Not sure what they do for all the money we pay them. The noise from the street right next to the accommodation is rather loud - this is mentioned in their descriptions. The property is quite new and the trees not yet fully grown... So you can picture this being truly in the wilds in 5-10 years."

An absolutely beautiful place to stay for total relaxation. Four of us stayed in the Meadow pipit and although the weather was very hit and miss, we had everything we needed to enjoy our four night stay.The fire pit/BBQ was used twice, the Hot tub was pure bliss and everything was very clean and very comfortable.We went for several walks, visited Sherwood Forest and the Attenborough nature reserve and had a meal in The Plough nearby where we received 10% off of our food for being Birdholme Glampers.Watched the sunset and sunrise and saw a Kingfisher.Really lovely experience all round.

What a find! We have just spent a fabulous bank holiday weekend staying with family at Birdholme in two lodges and literally couldn't fault a thing. The lodges are a little pocket of luxury in the Nottinghamshire countryside - finished to a high spec and nestled in a peaceful wild flower meadow with their own hot tubs and fire pit AND a complementary bottle of Prosecco on arrival! Just perfect for quality time together! We also ate at the Plough at Normanton and enjoyed the Sunday evening quiz which was a lot of fun. Thank you so much - we will definitely be back.

Beyond our expectations. A brilliant place to stay. Gorgeous unit and fabulous grounds. Our dogs adored it, I don’t think they wanted to come home!Want a special weekend? This is the place to book.

The accommodation is brilliant spotlessly clean and well equipped. It’s in a beautiful location and the hot tub is a big plus. The owners have thought of everything you might need and it’s there. The beds are really comfortable too. Plenty to do in the area we went to Sherwood Forest lovely walk with our dog. No hesitation in recommending this place.
