Luxe Cinema

My youngest son has additional needs and this place suits him so much better. Only having the 1 screen means its less busy and noisy. We always manage to get an end of an aisle seat as my son gets out of his seat and likes sitting on the steps. The staff are always on hand to help and nothing is ever to mych trouble for them. It is so much cheaper than a bigger company and my kids always seem to enjoy it more.

Watched the Seaside Special Film this evening.Wonderful Documentary Film!Brought back lots of memories, amazing film-making!Lovely comfortable and friendly cinema.

Local friendly cinema .great to get the latest films same time as their released.wonka has to be favourite by far.even tho a marvel fan

Why Haven't I been before have to ask myself ? Loved it great atmosphere, nice place, great film, comfy seats , great choice of drinks. Good value for money I shall be back my kind of place !!

Visited the Luxe tonight to see Oppenheimer. Such an excellent and thought-provoking film and as always excellent service. The Luxe is an absolute gem. Big sofas with bar service and individual seats at only £5. Why go anywhere else? Support this cinema!!! The Luxe is amazing!!

Yesterday I went to The Luxe for the first time and I’m afraid it will also be the last time.The tickets office is at the bar and unfortunately it can take a long time if you just want a ticket but everybody else is also ordering drinks and food at the “ticket office”.The worst part is when you enter the movie room, it just stinks of urine!I hoped my nose would go nose blind after a while but it did not. You kept smelling this horrible smell for over 2 hours.It seems like this has been a known problem for a very long time. There are other reviews about it and The Luxe is not doing anything about it.I noticed The Luxe responder on previous reviews about this issue with some excuse about the air con but this clearly is not an air con issue.I asked about the smell while I was there and they said it was an old building and they spray the room but they can’t do much else about it.This isn’t good enough.This may even be a health hazard.Another thing to note is that the sofas have little tables for your drinks and snacks. They are incredibly sticky. This grossed me out a lot.Any other place that’s serving food and drinks should have sticky tables like that replaced if they can’t be cleaned anymore so I don’t see why it’s safe for food & drinks in this cinema.These are known issues that need investment (not just investigation).You can’t keep taking money and never ever changing the carpet that so clearly stinks like urine.Incredibly disappointing.

£15 for 2 adults sharing a sofa. Super comfy sofa, small but nice.Food/drink prices pricey just like any cinema, but can't wait to book to go again.

My first visit here and what a beautiful place it is, the staff are wonderful and friendly the place is clean and comfortable, choice of single seats or sofas, sound was outstanding, would highly recommend, I won't be going back to the big cinemas now
