Bonjour French Classes in Edinburgh

I have been studying with Louise in Bonjour French Classes for roughly 10 months now. Previously I had French classes with various teachers within both italki and tutorful before taking a trial class with Louise and have never looked back since.I can safely say since beginning classes with Louise my enjoyment of learning French has increased, I'm more confident and comfortable than I thought I could be without having to move to France. Louise is very easy to talk to and encourages you, I've been attending for 10 months and we still find plenty to discuss and plenty for me to learn each class! The feedback she provides throughout the session is always the right amount to push you just beyond your current level but not overwhelm you. This has really helped me to consistently develop my French without feeling frustrated or getting down on myself.I would recommend anyone considering classes to try Bonjour. One of the most important considerations to maintaining a consistent practice at anything is being comfortable and keeping it fun! You will find both of those here.

I have been attending language classes with Louise for about 8 months and have seen an incredible improvement in my speaking and understanding during this time. She has helped me to build my confidence and she's great fun too :-)I would highly recommend Louise if you'd like to improve your French, she's the best!

I have had 10 one to one lessons with Louise and I can't recommend her enough. When I started I was nervous but Louise put me at ease in our first lesson. I'm new to french but I can now string basic sentence together and understand basic french listening. Louise is a fantastic teacher. If you're looking to start learning french Louise is your ideal teacher!

Louise is great and the teachers she knows are very friendly and knowledgable. From my experience, people never liked the French language because of awful French teachers, but with Louise and her team, you feel how welcoming, patient, and sweet they are! Merci Louise!!

Louise est la meilleure prof du monde! I have been working with her for almost a year and I truly can't believe how far I have come with my french. I studied french in college for multiple years and struggled to progress with the language. I was not good at communicating and was barely advancing over time. In just 11 months with Louise, I have become a confident french speaker with a wide ranging vocabulary and ability to converse with native french speakers. She has helped me reach all of my goals and continues to be a supportive, warm and engaging teacher who I look forward to speaking with every week!
