Lovely pods, excellent hot tubs and a very nice site. Owners are friendly and helpful. Nice touch with complimentary fire wood for the fire pit and marshmallows and biscuits to toast. Just needed a bar to be absolutely perfect.

We have just had a two night break here at West Hall Glamping and cannot recommend it highly enough. The location is perfect, the hosts are lovely and the pods are comfortable, warm, clean, well equipped and generally lovely. The grounds are very well kept and there are some gorgeous chickens running around contentedly. We will definitely return.

We had a great time at West Hall. The site is lovely, great views over the valley to Durham. The Pod itself was very clean and tidy, lots of little extras like tea and coffee/biscuits were included. I liked how the hot tub felt private and was not overlooked by anyone.

Where to start with this incredible venue…. Exclusively hired for my sisters hen do, there was 18 of us in total. We booked the party bell tent too. From start to finish Ray and Gill were exceptional hosts! Communication on the run up was great and nothing I asked was a bit of bother for them! The pods and hot tubs were immaculate and kitted out with anything and everything you could need for a weekend away. The chickens running free around the site was a very cute a quirky feature we loved it! Well ran family business and you can tell how much westhall glamping site means to them every detail was so well thought out. Made the hen weekend for my sister better than she could have imagined. Thank you so much! We can’t wait to return for a family break with our little ones too!

From the minute we arrived we felt so welcomed and at ease!! Beautiful place with gorgeous pods & wildlife, surrounded by farm animals. The owners - Ray & Gill are absolutely amazing and couldn’t do enough for you to make sure you have everything you need, nothing is ever too much trouble! Very friendly!! I kept on saying that Gill reminds me of a proper little mam - making sure you are alright and have everything you would need and want! She even helped us light our fire when we weren’t sure how to, haha - bless her :) We also love Teddy who is their dog, he loves to play fetch with his ball & sticks. Pam the cleaner is lovely too. We had the best relaxing 3 days here and are already looking at dates to come back. The minute I posted photos onto social media everyone was asking me where it was and how to book - I have recommended to all friends and family!! We loved everything about it but our faves was deffo the fire pit & hot tub. Thank you so much for a fab stay, we will definitely be back soon. One of the best places I have ever stayed xx

Our 2nd visit to this amazing site! Ray and Gill are so welcoming and are doing fantastic things with the site!!Pods are luxurious and have own hot tub, outdoor space with furniture and a fire pit for those evenings with marshmallows (which are provided in your welcome pack!)

Perfect.....everything you need the owners really have thought of everything. Perfect peaceful setting, gorgeous pods equipped with all you need and fabulous hot tubs. All you need is food, drink and a costume! Would 100% recommend and we will definitely be back. Thanks Ray for your warm welcome and well done!

My partner & I stayed in Squirrel recently. We were pleasantly surprised at how well organised the pods are, there is everything you need. The views were out of this world. The hot tub was an added bonus helping to create an extremely relaxing atmosphere. The fire pit was easy to use & the food cooked on it was delicious. Teddy & Rupert (dogs) were welcoming with their friendly nature's & sense of play. Durham & Beamish are close by & there are plenty of places to visit. Ray & Gill were fantastic hosts & we felt very welcome. We definitely recommend glamping here, but don't just take our word for it, go & see for yourself.

Had an amazing autumn stay. The weather was pretty dismal but the rooms were lovely and we made the most of the hot tub in between the showers. The views were still great in spite of the rain. Managed to have a nice walk up to the neighbouring farm (sadly closed on Mondays). Our dog and son had a great time playing with the owners' dogs Rupert and Teddy. A couple of lovely chats with the owners about their plans for the place.All in all it was a great few days away. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend or return.
