I am an artist who has been following UR for years. During covid19 everything has moved into the local parks and the dedication and true grit of this class became evident. I, even though my personal circumstances made it impossible to always be there, found connection with the whatsapp and internet, the supportive nature of this group helped to feel less alone through adversity. I listened more and felt the collective high with a different sense and awareness. And devoleped a deeper love for the practice (if that is possible). Simon is so present as a teacher and the group molds the future. Axé.

Superb training in the park. A really varied and exciting class out in the open air. Absolutely fantastic way to spend an hour or two. The teaching is insightful, clear and full of wisdom and humour, Simon obviously knows his stuff and teaches with unbridled enthusiasm and knowledge. Highly recommend it.

Training outdoors over the past 18 months has made me much stronger and actually enjoy the weather throughout the year. Practice has evolved with playfulness, climbing trees, running after the howler, playing music and sharing the Capoeira vibes in public spaces.Those moments are precious.It’s so easy to get lost in the city, going from one box to the next.
