I had a freaking/unlucky sport injury accident and moved to Cromwell hospital - I was in severe pain and horrible mind set during my stay but the hospital staff helped me out and did everything at their disposal to make me feel better and comfortable without hesitation. I'd like to take the opportunity and thank all of them from physio, kitchen, house keeping, night and day nurses....

I hope no one has to visit a hospital but if ever in need then this is a terrific full service hospital. Dr Ash was treating my sister and his attention to her care was just perfect. he communicated brilliantly and helped get us on our way.

Come to the Cromwell if you want your surgeon to largely ignore you and forget to take your stitches out. If you want to pay your insurance excess and then get accused of not doing it. Then engage with a complaints system that sends you someone else's medical records along with a half arsed apology. If you want to then try to be the bigger person and just let bygones be bygones and receive yet another email weeks after things have been resolved yet again accusing you of not paying your excess even though you were promised a refund of your excess which you also never received. If you really enjoy being stressed out when you're already not well, if you enjoy dealing with data protection violations and financial mismanagement, I highly recommend this hospital. They have basically put me through hell and continue to do so even after their apparent 'resolution'.

Daughter had surgery and a overnight stay on the Skyline children’s ward on a Thursday we were very much rushed out the door Friday afternoon when she wasn’t ready, they dosed her up with morphine prior to leaving she proceeded to vomit all the way home in the car and throughout the night. Called the ward at 9pm on the number given at discharge to be told very abruptly by an Irish lady the ward is closed for the weekend and no one qualified is here to advise you. Call 111.Currently my husband is now sat in A&E for 4 hours with a child sat in a wheel chair in tears from the pain of big surgery and Cromwell is closed. Very disappointing aftercare.

My partner sayed in this hospital. What an absolutely terrible experience - worse than the worst nhs hospital. The reception staff on the ground floor were good and the nurses are friendly, BUT those were the only good things about the hospital. Standards are soooooo low in every other area: the reservations staff 'forgot' to book my partner in so when we arrived there was a huge amount of stress; the floor she was staying on was super noisy; the food was worse than the average school canteen; the bathroom had no soap in it and in spite of numerous requests to the nurses it continued to have no soap in it; meals arrived super late; food that arrived was consistently different from what was ordered; hot drinks were cold; room was dirty; etc, etc.

I had my gall bladder removed 2 weeks ago and was very impressed with the service. Everything was-streamlined and stress free.My only complaint was-when I went for pre op testing. I had 2 strip for an ECG in a cold room and there were no gowns ! But the girl doing the ECG was-wearing a hoody bec she was cold!!Otherwise was-a very pleasant experience.

Food: food is wonderful, better than most of the hotels.Hygiene: I stayed there for one night and was bitten by the bedbugs. I couldn’t believe myself, but it’s only the area that’s not covered by the clothes that were bitten; and it’s exactly the same symptoms that I suffered from a airbnb stay in a foreign country. It still sounds unbelievable for me because the hygiene is supposed to be the first basic thing they should do well.Staff: staff are generally friendly and helpful, however, the operation process needs to be to refined as there are lots of confusion from different teams. And it’s not a good thing to have in the hospital.

Had a knee surgery and an overnight stay at the hospital. Overall, I'm very impressed with the experience. I had a room all for myself, which was spacious and looked more like a hotel room. The food was amazing, especially the selection they provide. The staff was VERY gentle and caring, to the point that they'd apply skin anesthesia and talk very kindly to me when taking blood or installing a canula, simply because I mentioned that I'm afraid of needles. Needless to say, any whim I had, I could press a button and within a minute someone would show up and help me, be it night or day.The somewhat annoying part was that they kept asking me things like what allergies I have or what meds I take, even though that has been documented on my file (and I didn't remember the exact names of those meds), so I guess the communication between units might indeed be improved a bit. My surgery was also about two hours late, and nobody could give me a proper estimate for when it would actually start. But I guess the staff doesn't always know.Overall, it was a great experience, and I feel like I've been given all the help that I needed. Thanks everyone who took care of me!

Just stayed overnight for a heart procedure and found the whole experience to be very good, from admission, the treatment and care I received and the quality of the accommodation and food. There was a heat problem on the ward as it was a very hot day by London standards but this was fixed with the provision of 2 fans. Highly recommended.
