Interesting ruins to view, plus an informative board to help you know what you are looking at. Worth visiting for the spectacular views

There's not a huge amount left of the castle, but it commands a fantastic position up on the top of a hill overlooking Three Cliffs bay. The views are stunning and well worth the 10 minute walk up from the beach.

I’m a huge fan of castles and this ruin is absolutely gorgeous. It was interesting to read about the history of the castle from the information boards, and the view of the valley is amazing! I would warn parents that there are long drops with no barriers or signs so this place can be dangerous for young children.

I love visiting all our castles in Wales especially the really picturesque ones like this. Parked at Southgate and had a nice stroll over and down onto the beach for a different view.

Beautiful!! Google maps tries to take you to a housing development nearby but don’t listen. Go to the Gower Heritage Center and they’ll give you a walking map! The views were incredible and the walk was lovely, even in cold December!

A short walk (5 mins) through the golf course. I would suggest going at sunset - the views and photos are worth it. Some information on a notice board is available on the way. No entry tickets required.

Keep you head down and make sure you ring those bells! When you get to the castle you’ll quickly realize the only way to get there is through a golf field. This is a good example of the Welsh authorities, where money comes before culture.

We decided to take the hardest route up a steep sandy hill. But boy the view totally made up for me nearly eating sand a few times. There is an easier route to take but we love a good challenge. Views are excellent and breath taking.

Stopped at the Pennard Castle after finding the location on a Google suggestion while visiting the surroundings.I am so glad we stopped!I was absolutely blown away by how beautiful the castle, the site and the view is!It reminded me of a fairytale castle with the scenic view.Had the best time exploring and taking pictures!
