Vision Express Opticians at Tesco - Longton, Stoke on Trent

I was pleasantly impressed by the friendly welcome and professional approach. I was invited to browse the display of frames and simply leave out any I had touched for sanitising. My eye test was very easy and the young lady very pleasant and competent. I was looked after by Leighton and Mandy in choosing my lenses and frames, such a pleasure to deal with. You're lucky to have such superb staff. I will be back !! Please thank everyone for me.--------I was so impressed with the first pair of glasses that I went back this week to have new lenses fitted into an existing frame. Once again the same first class service and friendly welcome. I am now excitedly waiting to hear when I can collect. Well done again, Vision Express at Tesco !!

Staff were all very welcoming. The eye test was done carefully and professionally. My only criticism is that the price list for varifocal lenses was misleading. However, I look forward to receiving. I am a returning customer

Great and professional optician. Have been listened and, went straight through for my appointment and had no concerns. Highly recommended. Everything has been explained to me from point A to point Z. Could not ask for a better service.

Prescription I receved was not fit for purpose, I had double vision at times. They offered to replace them with different lenses. 3 weeks later hadn't heard from them, so called. Their Lab said delay was due to waiting for frames, but I was using my old frames, as before. They were comfortable & fitted me well. Now have a further weeks delay before I get what I paid for early June. Staff were friendl but servive was poor.

I went to Vision Express in Longton Tesco on Saturday 3rd April 2021, for an eye test and to get new glasses. The staff were all very friendly, helpful and good at their jobs. I hadn’t been looking forward to the appointment previously, but the staff managed to turn it into a positive experience for me, that I ended up enjoying. They assisted in all aspects, even helping to pick out the style of glasses that suited best.I would recommend using this opticians and I will be using them again in future.

Great service and great experience, they squeezed me in at short notice after a blood shot eye became worse over a couple of days after my previous optician couldn't see me for at least 5 to 6 days time that also included calling around other branches to see if they could fit me in, Kirsty and Osman made me feel welcome and at ease and allayed my fears that nothing major was wrong with my eye, so moving forward I will now continue to use Vision Express and I would like to say thank you for your professionalism and service.

Extremely rude man who works in this store. I booked my daughter an eye test as she was struggling to see through the ones she has and they're her only pair. She had to go in without me as I was still on my way. Yes she's 18, but very nervous & wanted me with her. The rude man in store told her she wasn't due a test until November and that as she's an adult, she didn't need her Mum. This was said to her when she explained she was waiting for me. Who is he to say if she needs me or not. He has no idea whether she may have a hidden disability or any reason as to why she might need me. When I arrived, we went back in and was rudely spoken to again. He told me that if her prescription hadn't changed, she wasn't allowed a test...to which I asked, how do you know if her prescription had changed, if you haven't done a test....but o was so angry at how he spoke first to my daughter and then me, that I walked away. I'd rather pay and go anywhere but to Vision Express. I have made a formal complaint about this man as he was clearly a total jobsworth.

Really lovely staff. The optician was thorough and patient. The staff were really helpful & let me try various frames on to find ones I liked - no pressure whatsoever and they were lovely & chatty which helped the whole process. Didnt feel like I’d been for an appointment to be honest! The exact same experience when my partner attended to :) thanks guys we will definitely be returning!
