I can not recommend enough this interior design course; Sally with her kind nature and passion for teaching brought out the best of me in my three day course. I not only learnt the basics of interior design but also this course was a stepping stone to discovering a new passion in my life, for which I will always be thankful to Sally.This course is for anyone who enjoy interior design from the very beginners to more experienced ones.

I could not recommend this three day course highly enough. It is an intensive course that covers so much over the three days and Sally has thought of everything you might need to either set up a business in Interior Design or to help expand your knowledge for personal use in your own home. I really felt so inspired over the three days in Sally’s beautiful home and felt she took the time to teach each member of the group individually and helped us all work together as a group as well. The portfolio you take away with you is such an incredible tool to inspire and drive you to take the course onto the next stage.

I recently did Sally’s three day intensive course and I would highly recommend it. Sally is a very experienced interior designer. She teaches in-depth aspects of interior design with great practical tasks to cement your learning. After three days we had covered all aspects of interior design for home interiors from scale drawings to lighting, mood boards to fabric and furniture choices. It’s pretty much what you would learn on a much longer course. Sally teaches from her wonderful stylish home and is an inspiring and supportive tutor.

Absolutely fantastic course - Sally is a great teacher, she teaches just what you need to know without getting bogged down in the detail. I had such a fun week, just wish it lasted longer :)

I attended the 3-day interior design course. It was an intensive, comprehensive course that assumes no knowledge to start with. With my completed A3 portfolio I now feel confident to improve my home interiors without making any expensive design mistakes. I probably learned as much in 3-days as I would have done on a 3-month course. The instructor, Sally McIlroy, was superb. Attending the course in her beautiful period home was inspiring and provided visual examples for us students. The internet is full of information, but there is nothing like having Sally with you, observing and assisting you in learning the best methods for choosing colours, fabrics, room layouts, lighting, etc and even giving you encouragement that you did something right!
