Decodance Cafe
One of the worst places I've eaten in.Very rude staff, inept at taking correct order, grubby eating area. Long wait , almost an hour for simple food. Mentioned this to manageress & she replied that we were free to walk out if we thought we'd waited too long ! So rude . The couple on a table near ours did walk out , complaining loudly .Food unremarkable , fried halloumi & salad.

Got there at 14:14, ordered a jacket and an omelette, told there was a bit of a wait". At 14:56 they hadn't even started the food with zero communication."

Enjoyed my meal, steak pie wasn't up to its usual standard. Not that busy at 1230ish, so food and drinks arrived quickly.

Very poor toastie with very narrow sliver of goats cheese and too much taste of honey, not worth the money at all.Also us and other customers alike were pestered with constant presence of flies in the cafe, made eating and drinking uncomfortable, one couple moved into another area because of the issue.

I visit here regularly and I'm pleased with every visit.The staff are excellent, the environment is clean, the food is sublime and they are happy to assist with dietary requirements, where possible.If you're coming to Hemswell Antiques (any of them) then definitely stop in here before you leave.

We ordered our food and after serving us the drink we where told we had to wait 40 minutes maximum and that they had already started cooking the food . They would not do egg and chips with add on bacon sausage etc we had to Order a breakfast with chips added on when it arrived the egg was missing they just walked away saying we didn't order it, the food wasn't very nice and service was very poor, will not return
