James was quick to respond to my roof replacement request. Came over and gave a reasonable quote and a week later the job was finished. Would not hesistate to recommend for other jobs.

We had some of our slate roof damaged by storm Arwen , having only moved up to Aberdeenshire very recently we where unsure who to contact for help.We googled slate roof repairers in the local area and after talking to a number we came across James at Waterston roofing, he was polite helpful knowledgably and very approachable on the phone so we asked him to come and look at the job.He fitted us in as we where worried about the roof leaking, he arrived on time, explained every stage of the job and even fixed my guttering for no extra charge, end results where great could hardly tell it had been repaired, he checked the rest of the roof out for piece of mind and suggested we needed some repointing doing, he will be returning early next year to do it for us, glade we came across him as always difficult to know who to trust these days.

James was friendly, polite and knowledgeable. The work done, is to a high standard. Couldn't be happier

After 3 attempts from different roofers trying to resolve a roof leak we contacted Waterston Roofing. James arrived at our property and offered sensible suggestions of what the cause could be. Extremely happy with the work he carried out after this including fitment of a new dry ridge system. Although we will have to wait till the strong winds and rain to see if our leak is sorted we feel confident of good after sales from Waterston Roofing if the problem still persists.

With the bad storms at the end of 2021 my tiled conservatory developed a leak. Emergency roofers from Aviva attended twice but failed to find the leak. They are only interested in attending and leaving. James Waterston attended on Christmas eve in the rain, invited me onto the roof with him, and we went through a very structured leak investigation. In 30 minutes he found the leak that 4 others had failed to find. I asked him to quote to repair and also for a quote for some deteriorated ridge tile pointing. The quotes arrived that evening and were competitive (I know because a professional estimator gave me a quote). At every stage of the job James kept me informed on when his team would arrive/depart, how they were getting on and what they were doing and why. The team was pleasant, courteous and tidy. I really feel that they cared about doing a good job. Can't recommend enough !
