Are food arrived cold. The curry and chicken in yellow bean sauce consisted of mainly rock hard vegetables and very little meat. My sauce was very thick and not particularly tasty. My husbands curry mainly consisted of rock hard onions and very little meat and weak water like sauce. I don't usually complain but the meat was below standard and we won't be using the take away again.

I ordered a take away tonight that was probably the worst one I have ever had (and let me tell you I like ordering take out). I had king prawn chow mein and a crispy pancake roll. The chow mein was average but the king prawns we're poor quality and we're still transparent and not cooked properly! The pancake roll was even worse. As soon as I had my first bite it tasted off. When I smelled it, it was definately rancid andhad gone off. I rang the restaurant and told them and they sent 2 more dishes and asked for the original ones to be sent back. As soon as I tasted the replacement dishes they were exactly the same! I called the restaurant and told them again and they were very argumentative and would not accept that the food was off. This food was rancid and I will never order from or recommend them again. They will make someone Ill by sending out rotten food. I will be reporting them to trading standards.

Quick delivery. Good portions. Taste lovely. Really enjoyed it all. 4 stars only because my partner wasn't impressed with ribs. All onions on the bottom have been swimming in the oil.

Ordered via Uber eats and recieved the smallest portions I have ever had from a Chinese, for the price I would have expected a reasonable meal! Ordered a chicken dish to find 8 of the smallest shreds of chicken swimming in half a tub of sauce, tubs of rice that were 2/3 filled. The food we did recieve wasn’t great tasting either. Would not recommend at all.

Lovely local Chinese takeaway. Prices are good and the service is fantastic. Food always arrives on time and hot. I recommend you give them a try. You won't be disapointed.

First time trying food from this place. Absolutely unreal. Staff all very friendly and delivered very quick. Would definitely return again and recommend it to anyone!

Late night meal pit stop not usually one for Oriental food at this time, however that said I've had my fair share. Really liked the onions in my salt n pepper wings but the portion size was small. I had only four wings in there and my local would region between 6-10 wings. Quality of the chicken was good and the crispy skin. Egg friend rice was ok too. Just the portion size of the wings let me.

I would like to share my experience with the Golden Egg Oriental takeaway. Over a year ago, my partner and I were searching for a takeaway that offered tofu options, and we stumbled upon them. Since then, we have been regular customers and have always received 5-star service.They are always consistent in the quality of the food (even during peak times) and we are always left feeling satisfied and happy with our meal.The customer service in our opinion has always been 5-stars. On two separate occasions, they have accommodated our requests to replace vegetables from one set menu meal with vegetables from another. This shows how much they care about their customers and are willing to go the extra mile to make sure we are happy.I highly recommend trying the Szechuan Style Tofu (extra spicy), Tofu with satay sauce, Tofu with Black Bean Sauce, and all the usual" accompaniments (spring rolls
