Highfield House caravan site( member only site)

I was originally put off because there didn't seem to be online booking, however I rang up and all it took was a name and a date. So I needn't have worried - just ring.The owner was really friendly on arrival which was just what I needed after a day of walking. The surroundings are lovely and the campsite is really accessible from the motorway. The nearby village has a shop and two pubs.The campsite itself is beautifully presented field with great views. Showers were 50p and the facilities were rudimentary but very serviceable.The campsite would be a perfect stop over on a longer journey or for a quick weekend break where you want something accessible.I'm not sure if I will be back in the area, but if I am I would definitely stay again.

If your looking for somewhere just out of the cities but feels like the middle of nowhere (except the bus route next to it, that stops at 11) this site is certainly a brilliant option! Lovely family that runs it too!!

Such a friendly sight in a good location. Facilities are good and kept very clean. The owners are superb. Nothing is to much trouble. Strongly recommend it.

2 mens & womens clean toilets, each with a shower (50p) to use. Bbq available & clean area for camping.

I arrived after it was dark to a friendly welcome. I chose this site for its proximity to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park, which is 10 minutes away. The site slopes but I found a level space with hook up. The site is on a road which does have frequent vehicles but I did not find this to be a problem during the night. For £15 this is a great place to overnight

Owner is lovely, small campsite holds ten units, peaceful and out the way but not to far from anything, walkers would love this place to camp.Toilet block very clean shower available 50p for three minutes.Dogs welcome no charge just make sure there on a leadWe stayed for a weekend, would definitely stay at this park again.Cash only

Camped our Eriba here a couple of times now. Very friendly, easy going.... A delightful place. Dog friendly. Electric hook up available. Clean. Would recommend.

Lovely hosts and lovely clean ablutions. The ground has always been well maintained and very peaceful. Have had several stops there and hoping to carry on doing so for many years to come. My wife and I love going there.
