Well, it's different.Decor is cluttered and unappealing, and I've been in cleaner bars, but the staff were great and the drink selection was something else. Some friends orders food, they claimed it was very good. I saw it. I'm not convinced, but empty plates speak for themselves.

Easy to be among your top5 pubs of Brighton. Different from others, food is a good selection of Scandinavian and some sort of adapted dishes, not that many beers but imported, and the pub is in a great location.

My favourite little bar in Brighton. Good selection of bottled beers, and always at least one interesting draft offering. Amazing selection of flavoured vodkas and gins, as well as some speciality offerings - definitely try the glögg if you're here around Christmas.Wonderful Nordic food on a seasonal menu, well-priced, served incredibly quickly.Friendly, welcoming staff.

I went to this pub, and had a mackerel fillet dish, which was absolutely spectacular. It was one of the tastiest fish dishes I have ever had.....I need to go back and eat it again!

Love this unique little place. Awesome drinks and friendly staff. A bit hidden, but worth finding. If you love vodka, you will love this place. I know I do.

One of my favourite bars in Brighton. The staff is friendly and they serve unusual Scandinavian beers and drinks. Love the atmosphere.

This is a lovely little place hidden away, but don't let the downstairs fool you, upstairs is much bigger with plenty of room! The quality of food was fantastic, very exotic and unusual but good all the time. I had the Salmon and it was superb and pancakes for afterword which were also delicious. Saw reindeer on the list, but I think I might not try that (poor magical reindeer =P). Also, try their larger, also fantastic!

A fantastic respite from the tourist centre of Brighton! Somehow this place has retained its own sense of style and, importantly, culture amidst the generic pubs of the lanes.

Great bar. Lovely, helpful staff. The food is delicious and the mulled wine is a winner!

Left before ordering after being disgusted by the sticky menus, dirty glassware and swarms of flys dancing above the tables.Probably ok place for those wanting to try the Scandinavian vodkas they're advertising but wouldn't consider it ever again for food. It's a shame, would've really wanted to find a good authentic Scandinavian kitchen on our trip to Brighton.
