'Mi Amigo' Memorial
Its great place to visit, make sure you read about the history of those great men who lost their lives. Great memorial, It's all down to a great human being. If you are lucky you might meet Tony there as well ( the memorial keeper).

Endcliffe Park is a lovely place to visit. It's ideal for dog walking, families - anyone. The cafe is superb. Forget greasy spoon. This place is much more sophisticated and reasonably priced with a good variety of food and beverages. Lots of interesting pathways to meander around in a well-maintained environment.

After learning about the memorial from Dan Walker on BBC breakfast we wanted to visit and had the pleasure of meeting Tony this morning, you really couldn’t meet a nicer man. Thanks Tony for your efforts. Lovely park too.

Visited this memorial today. It is really well kept, Tony was around but we didn't stop to chat as we're waiting for my partner to cross the line while a run was on. Endcliffe park is lovely and the memorial makes you reflect on how many lives have been lost due to selflessness.

Tony looks after the memorial and if you are lucky enough to see him he will with pleasure tell you every detail about the crash and the crew as he was 8 years old when he saw the plane crash in the park. He is an absolute legend! He cleans it and looks after

A wonderful memorial, and visiting re-affirms your faith in people. Thank you Tony for everything you’ve done for those brave ten, you’re a credit to your city and to their memory- a true gentleman and a hero in your own right.

Very moving memorial to the airmen that lost their lives in the Mi Amigo tragedy. The memorial is worth a visit as is knowing more about this forgotten story of WW2. I wonder how many Sheffield people owe their lives to these brave US servicemen?
