I really loved the hair, however the customer service is shocking, the women I had was pulling my hair and not being very gentle making my scalp red, I had naturally notty hair however it still doesn’t give her the right to do that. The women next to me she was doing was being gentle, I don’t know what I did. however the trainee I had for a little while was amazing and was gentle

I've been getting my hair cut at this salon for the past 18 years. Although I lived locally when I started having my hair done there, I've since moved several times, but always arrange for my hair to be done when I'm visiting as I just don't trust anyone else to do it as well as Anna, who is one of the senior stylists.I've had colours done several times, which I have always loved. The stylists are sent on courses several times a year, so you know that the colours and cuts that they are doing are the latest styles and designs that are seen in high fashion circles and on the catwalk. They're always happy to suggest ideas for a new style in cut or colour as they are highly trained and able to advise according to your face shape and colouring. I've always had comments on my hair with people asking where I go to get it done. My hair is one of the few things that I am confident about when it comes to my appearance, which is all down to having my hair styled at this salon. Thanks as ever girls!

Fantastic salon. Emily styled my hair again yesterday and did a perfect job, thank you, cheered me up loads. Staff are great and friendly plus the ambience is perfect with everywhere clean and tidy and a calming decor. Thank you.

Having a hair cut and colour is a 3 hour process therefore it is a big decision when choosing a hairdresser. The experience at Crackers and chaps is great, the whole team are friendly, very knowledgeable and professional. I am not great at knowing what to do with my hair but cut and colour options are always offered and I am always delighted with the results- I would never go to another salon in Diss!

Donna has cut and coloured my hair for probably 15 years and I can honestly say I have never been disappointed. As the salon owner she invests a lot of time in making sure they all attend regular training sessions and always keeps up with the latest techniques and trends.I often get stopped and complimented on my hair and asked where I go and I am always delighted to let them know I am lucky enough to have found the best hairdresser in East Anglia in my opinion. In fact my whole family go to C&C... My daughter gets married this year and Donna will be doing her hair and the bridesmaids.The salon has recently had a refurbishment making it a lovely place to spend a couple of hours every six weeks or so.I can highly recommend Donna and all her stylists as they all work extremely hard to ensure all their clients leave feeling wonderful and confident their hair looks fantastic.

I've been going to Crackers and Chaps for years. All the girls are very professional and I trust Donna 100% with whatever she does to my hair.Donna styled my hair and my bridesmaid's hair when I got married and I have never found a hairdresser as good as her.The salon always looks amazing and she is constantly keeping it up to date.I fly home from Scotland every 8-12 weeks to get my hair and my daughters hair cut - that's how good she is!!

Excellent salon. I’ve been a client for some time now and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to another person. I’ve had three different stylists do my hair over my time with the salon and they’ve all been brilliant!

Lovely salon. The ladies were very helpful. Came in to get highlights done and that was absolutely fabulous. Very pleased. Then came back to get my wedding hair done. Satisfied. Did exactly what I wanted. Thank you ladies.

Asked for a bob shorter at the back and longer at the front and what I got was the other way around had half head of hi light which were ok I paid £104 for this not cheap safe to say I will be looking for another hairdresser not impressed

I had my hair washed by the trainee, think her name was “em”, she done an amazing job, and was lovely, better service than my actual hairdressers placed somewhere els as just wanted to be fitted in quickly, she gave a good service and will be coming to her when she qualifies
