Went with friends . It's cosy and clean . We had food and drinks .The only issue was the staff and food was very slow took an hour to get our mains to us and then they were not the hottest and my steak dish seemed like it had been microwaved before coming out to me . Skin on sauce and steak went chewy as did prawns . At £16.99 I would of expected better .Overall would go again .They was busy in bar but not busy for food so ashame about delays

I visited here for the first time last and was really impressed. It was lively and had a good vibe about the place. We found a lovely table that was in a good, fairly quiet area.The food was incredible, especially for the price. Service was quick and friendly. All staff seemed really nice but stand out member of staff was Marcus. I couldn't find a single fault.I had a delicious classic burger followed by the Caramel Apple Crumble Pie, which was absolutely beautiful.Looking forward to going again.

Had a meal tonight which was good , but the burgers were over cooked and crispy round the edges and a little dry. A burger should be moist. But overall the meal was ok. It was good to see that it is a dog friendly pub but one lady had her dog sitting on a chair feeding it dog biscuits that is a total no no. The lady seemed to be a regular so please management deep clean all the tables.

A great place to meet friends for a pre Christmas drink. I hit there early and had a bite to eat. The food was awesome and the staff were very friendly even though they were busy.A great evening … thank you

The manager, Nicki, set aside a portion of the pub for a wake so we could celebrate the life of our dearly departed mom. The staff couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful. There was plenty of delicious buffet food for everyone and the staff even packed up the leftovers into food trays for us to take away. Everything was smooth and stressless; just what we needed on such a sad day. Thanks to everyone at the Hardwick for your help.

Lovely looking pub, staff extremely friendly and polite, however the food is just about average! £15 for a steak that’s only on par with Wetherspoons isn’t acceptable, taste wise it was ok, but no bone marrow sauce, no chicken wings on a Saturday lunch time isn’t great either!
