Parkdean Resorts California Cliffs Holiday Park, Great Yarmouth

Fantastic time away with the kids for our short weekend, located extremely close to the beach, with some great offerings on site with good evening entertainment.Food isn't much in the restaurant for the prices and the drinks are overly expensive in my mind too, but overall very good.

Lovely park, well maintained, clean and tidy, friendly staff. Evening entertainment is great for all the family. Food in The Boathouse is good quality. Facilities on the park are good although there was only 1 car working on the go-kart track and we couldn't use the sports arena due to it seemingly being the meeting point/place to be for about 30 teenagers! Not sure how this could be resolved but it's not fair on the younger children like ours who would like to use it to play football etc but can't due to this. Pools are clean and well staffed. 2 minute walk to the beach. Arcades on site and across the road. Cannot really fault California Cliffs and would definitely return!

Stayed in Caravan for a week resturants/ bar food was very good steak night was excellent very enjoyable and very good price we eat in there a few times very good. Im saying the same as i did last year entertainment hall needs new chairs very old worn out and dirty so olny went there twice. good location to get to other places. Staff all friendly we had a couple of problems in our caravan sorted very quickly and professionally very pleased with our stay just not happy to use club entertainment area as not to the standards l expect.

We have been to many many Parkdean sites around the country and wanted to try this one out as hadn't been here, as caravan parks go it's alright, the caravan was lovely clean and tidy and had all the cooking utensils that you'd have at home, but the park it's self was nothing much especially the play area for children, this was very limited in what it had. Just outside the park gates is a Chinese takeaway which we tried and the food was really really nice,don't be put off by the shabby look of it and same sort of price as you pay in town at home. There is also an ice cream place just next door to the Chinese which is also very nice. If you fancy a little walk when you come out of the park gates turn left and walk up the road a bit then turn left again there is a little parade of shops and a coffee house, we didn't try this so can't say what it's like. All in all this site is ok but nothing special.

We booked 4 nights & on the day of our arrival, we were very impressed with the lodge. It was very clean, spacious and we loved the walkin closets too. Our daughter and her friend enjoyed the entertainment and your go-karts. Also we found the staff were friendly at the front desk.

Most of the staff are helpful. Odd ones that don’t seem to want to be here working.Foods pricey and so are the drinks.Caravans are nice - depending which caravan your in depends if you can get your car in and out from your caravan! Which is a big issue!Worth the stay - a couple of minutes walk to the beach. Arcades on site and one off site. Chinese and takeaway (selling burgers/hotdogs/chips/ice cream and donuts etc) and very close to Great Yarmouth.Worth coming for sure.

Highly Recommend for a quick and easy getaway!I recently had the pleasure of staying at this resort and I was thoroughly accommodated for! When myself and the group arrived, the place was lit up by the arcade and other facilities on sight which made for a great atmosphere upon arrival. We had an extremely easy check - in and when we arrived to our temporary home it was perfect.Clean, spacious and everything myself and the group needed! We proceeded to have a great four nights here which included utilizing the quite spacious football cage, the in-house pool tables, arcade and best of all the swimming pool!When swimming, the lifeguards were extremely sweet and interacted with us to make it more enjoyable, all while maintaining everyone's safety and security. Special mention to Lauren with the tattoos! She was incredibly nice and talkative which made the group feel great!Would highly recommend as very inexpensive and great quality of service! 5/5

Stayed in Heartland caravan for a week. Beautiful and clean, the only downfall was the double bed, really small for 2 adults! Entertainment cheesy but great lol. Swimming lots of fun! A stones throw away from the beach!!Arcade and gorgeous takeaways across the road. Perfect stay, would definitely return.

A great caravan park which was close to the beach. We stayed at the park for 7 nights in late August, the caravan was nice and clean, I think it was an upgrade from the one we booked. The swimming pool was nice with outside and inside joined, the water is nice a warm even the outside pool. The park had lot's of nice flowers all around which was a nice touch, I would defiantly stay here again.
