Me and my fella were served by a lovely girl called Verity, who very kindly offered to make me a non-alcoholic version of my favourite cocktail, Amaretto Sour… and she smashed it. It was perfect. Fab atmosphere, gorgeous interior & amazing service. Thank you!

Service very fast. Cocktails 2 for £10. Food not served here. Music was blasting a bit over the top for the time of day and how few were in there. Drinks nice and strong.

the staff were fantastic: so attentive, friendly and informing. the drinks were quite tasty, most too sweet, and had fantastic names. however the drinks were very expensive for what they were, and the menu (and some of the bar's decor) was littered with spelling mistakes. as well as this the so called 'tiki bar' had no tiki style decorations other than on the actual bar itself. the bar was decorated just like any other basic cocktail bar and the music was in no way anything that could even remotely be described as tiki bar themed. so yes, tasty but expensive drink, lovely staff but just an overwhelmingly disappointing experience.

Great Cocktails. The “Point Break” and “Cuban Casablanca” are well crafted. Perfectly balanced. Classic cocktails are also available, if you are craving an off menu drink.

Excellent service with beautiful cocktails. It's not the cheapest place in York but it has a great atmosphere and the staff really make you feel at home. Worth every penny.

Refused service because I was not from York. Girlfriend was to meet me there but our moneys no good there apparently. Said they did not allow “strollers”, which I was assured by the adjacent 4 bars is an excuse to attain a specific demographic. Anyplace is more deserving of patronage than here

Drinks are ok, lots of sugar and not a lot of originality. Tiki cocktails have so much room for creativity that it’s a little sad to have the same flavour profiles over and over again. Having said that, the prices are very reasonable which really does make up for it if your goal is just to drink a sweet drink and get a little tipsy. Staff seem very friendly, security was lovely and while the atmosphere isn’t really for me, I understand the loud upbeat music really works for this kind of area.
