Jeff handled the passing of a long term family dog, who we originally rescued from Raystede, with the utmost care and compassion and it only felt right that he finishes his journey back where it started. He allowed us all the time we needed to say our goodbyes and he also allowed us to talk about our experiences with our beloved dog. Never have I ever received such a caring nature from somebody who I had just met. I would highly recommend Peaceways as they made everything so easy and they allowed us the time that we needed to start to process what had happened. I was comforted in knowing Jeff would treat our Jim with the kindness he always treated everybody with and in the fact that Jim’s bed has now gone to another dog at Raystede in need of somewhere comfortable to sleep. It’s a wonderful service and I now have another place where I can go and feel instant peace and a calm sense to go and feel closer to my boy. Thankyou for everything- you truly are wonderful people.

Jeff at Peaceways offers an excellent service at the end of life of your pet. I was extremely impressed with the care, professionalism and seamless service. Great communication, swift return of my dog’s ashes, lovely place with a calm and friendly atmosphere. If there were more than 5 stars to give I would give them ! Faultless at a vulnerable time.

After losing our very loved great dane Tiny in the middle of the night, my partner and I were feeling lost and so much despair. In the morning, we agreed to call Peaceways and I was so relieved we could take Tiny there even though it was Sunday morning.I immediately felt a sense of peace when I first called. The team was incredible! There was so much compassion, kindness and patience with us.The place is very beautiful and peaceful. We were treated with so much respect.Thank you Peaceways for looking after our Tiny. Deserving of 5 stars and more!

Jeff was an absolute gentleman and helped us to say a difficult goodbye to Boo in the most gentle and humane way. The place itself is peaceful and idyllic and the knowledge that the proceeds of our rescue cat’s goodbye was going to another rescue centre was of real comfort to us. Losing our girl Jess was heartbreaking but taking her to Peaceways made it just that little bit easier.Sarah welcomed us with kindness and made the process of leaving our girl with her as smooth as possible. Jeff and his team were so kind, caring and compassionate, when I lost my beautiful cat Millie last month. I really felt supported in my grief, I was never rushed and said goodbye to my sweet cat in the most dignified way. It was comforting to know the money for her final journey went back to Raystead too, which was the charity I rescued her from, 16 and a half years ago! I'll forever be grateful for my perfect rescue cat, Jeff and Peaceways.

From the moment I first met Jeff back in January 2010 I realised here was the kind, compassionate and professional hand you need when you have been run over by a freight train filled with grief.
