Lovely bookshop with very understanding owners - they allowed us to keep browsing even though it was closing time. Can’t be more pleased with our purchases too - lovely selection of Scottish history and maps (including the clearances :( and the Highlands). Fab Ficiton section and charming cookery section - and even crochet and sewing books. Bought some postcards too… if you are in Dornoch, you should go to this lovely shop.

This was another independent bookshop to try. There is plenty choice and titles available . Once again some unusual local interest books were available. Good selection of cards, calendars and a good children's section. I really enjoy visiting different bookshops there is always something you have not seen before. Open good hours and well worth a visit.

First class service.I bought one terrific book on Sutherland's ornithology and enquired about another book. They didn't have the book I asked about as it was out of publication but they contacted me to say they had ordered it in for me. I have ended up with two excellent books for a reasonable price. Friendly staff, as well.

I absolutely love this book shop, I make a concerted effort to visit the shop every time I stay in Dornoch. The variety of books for all ages are wonderful, beautiful and unique array of cards, unusual and interesting presents too. I always purchase books for my husband to read and buy books and gifts for our grandchildren. What can I say, wonderful shop. Oh, and the staff are lovely and helpful too.

A small but fantastic independent book shop which is rare in the North of Scotland. It has an excellent range of Scottish & local interest books & is also the place to go for more unusual cards.
