I love walking here but it's such a shame when kids leave their rubbish all over on the seating areas and there's no dog bins anywhere on pit top

Backing on to some industrial estates this walk was my salvation during the COVID 19 pandemic, a place of sanctuary, I entertained myself trying to identify the very shy birds flitting between the trees, heard and saw chiff chaffs, bullfinch, chaffinch and more, a pair of sparrowhawk's flying overhead and more recently buzzards.

Careful when entering the site from Greenland's there's broken down barbed wire fence and some sections are hidden by the grass. £900 later our little terrier ripped her leg open on it. Whoever has responsibility for that field needs to repair it or remove it totally. Dog owners please be careful.
