We have been with you guys for 2 years now. Absolutely amazing with both my dogs. So patient and understanding and I love how you guys enjoy making coming to see you such a positive experience. My recent happy visits with Maggie-May have been brilliant.You guys are the best!

Every interaction I've had with any team member at Chalklands has been exceptional - whether it's the at Chippenham or Melksham branch - no matter who I talk to, it's a friendly face and no problem feels too big. We've been dealt with such love, care and most importantly immediate attention.I want to give special mention to Hanah and Maria who've gone above and beyond to ensure a recent eye problem for my dog was dealt with swiftly and quickly. They were always available and treated her like one of their own.I will definitely recommend this vet practice to anyone in need. Thank you for everything to date.

Can't recommend this lovely vet practice highly enough!Our Coops was really out of sorts last night and so bad this morning he could barely walk. Fearing the worst, I had to get an emergency appointment, and the lovely, caring staff and vet, Dr Phillipa Hunt, were absolutely amazing.After really thorough checks, it turns out our Coops has a urinary tract infection, and is picking up again by the hour. I'm so, soooo happy and grateful to have our gorgeous, amazing boy hovering and poking for food again!

Such a lovely vets! I had been looking for one for my kitten, Chalklands were the first I phoned for some info - and the girl on the phone was so lovely I signed up there and then. They offer a fantastic care package of a monthly subscription with so many benefits included. All staff super polite and helpful. The vet herself, Courtney, was just fantastic. So full of helpful information and didn’t make me feel silly for asking so many questions. Very gentle and affectionate towards my kitten and I was given a goody bag with lots of info, vet merchandise and a whole bag of expensive food for the cat. Could not fault them. :)

I got an appointment on the day I needed for my little Yorkshire Terrier. Rosie loves going to Chalkland Vets and always loves seeing the staff. They are so patient and caring for Rosie I would never trust anyone else with Rosie. Only need to say something once and its put stright onto her notes as Rosie has back thumbs so impressed with everything about Chalklands vets

Let me firstly say that from the moment I noticed that something was wrong with my dog, to seeing a vet and getting him then booked in for surgery under general anesthetic, to the day of surgery was outstanding. The vet who first saw my dog was the same one who performed the operation, and her professionalism and genuine care could not be faulted. A huge thank you to her.On the day of surgery, I was met at the Melksham practice by the vet and the veterinary nurse, both were genuinely very understanding to my anxieties and assured me that my dog was in very good hands and they would keep me informed how his surgery was going.Another huge thank you, again to the vet and also to the veterinary nurse.When I picked my dog up, it was uncomfortable. The lady on reception made me feel like I wanted to walk out of the practice and walk back in again. It started off pleasant enough and she was wanting to book the follow up appointments and tell me what medications was being prescribed, but at this stage, I hadn't seen the veterinary nurse and was unaware how my dog was, or how his operation had gone or post operation information. The nurse tried to take me into a private room to explain but was, in my opinion, very rudely spoken to by the lady on reception, saying she had not yet finished, in a loud and aggressive manner. The nurse simply walked away and waited in a side room for a few minutes. This was embarrassing for me to witness, and I'm not sure who's job it would be to pass post op medication information to me, but for this reason I couldn't give a 5 star review. Such a shame because the vet and veterinary nurse we both outstanding.

Only been with Chalkland for a few months as Bailey is our first dog/pup. From the outset, the staff have been fantastic, welcoming and professional. Bailey actually loves going.

Chalkland have been lovely with our nervous Maine Coons. More recently one cat has needed more care and Chalkland have been wonderful providing treatment and support. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough and special thanks to Philly.

We moved to Chalkland vets 2 years ago and have received the best care and treatment. Could not fault the staff and care given when we had to say goodbye to our beloved dog. Would not use anyone else.

We've been with Chalkland vets for just under 2 years and have had a really positive experience with them. Hanah in particular has been so responsive and helpful with ongoing tummy issues one of our cats has. Recently we had a lump come up on our cat just before we went away. The team were so helpful in getting him seen, a biopsy done and returned all before we went away and were so reassuring. All fine but really highlighted how good they are. Wouldn't go anywhere else!
