The Blades Flying Experiences

A phenomenal experience, we all had a fantastic day and left with smiles on our faces.Everything is so well organised from booking and information leading up to the day. They have done an excellent job working around Covid restrictions ensuring everything is as safe as possible. On arrival we were met by the lovely hostesses who superbly looked after us throughout the day. Everyone is very friendly and enthusiastic, they all seem to enjoy the day as much as we did.We were split into three groups rotating around the days activities , flying with the team, flying in a Tiger Moth and a racing simulator, all great fun with a great lunch in between.The day is worth every penny and I can attest to booking confidence, unfortunately we had to cancel our day last year due to a bereavement. Josephine from the team was fantastic in her understanding offering me full flexibilty in my options including a full refund at every stage which we appreciated greatly.Flying in close formation with the team is a truly unforgettable experience and the aerobatic manoeuvres were simply awesome. A day to remember thanks to everyone in the team

5 star experience from start to finish. The entire day runs like clockwork and both the flyer and guest are made to feel so welcome, the team and pilots are so lovely and make themselves available to chat and assist constantly. The flying experience itself is so amazing and so unique, what a privilege to fly with some of the best. I bought this as a gift for my husband and I don’t think he will ever forget it. A very unique offering with a very special team. If you are thinking about this for yourself or someone, stop thinking and book immediately. You will not regret it. One of the best experiences of my life, without a doubt. The entire day was well considered and organised, the staff were extremely helpful, friendly and welcoming and the pilots were simply amazing (also hugely helpful, friendly and welcoming).My two brother's and I were there for the flight experience but we were able to bring our partners, parents and children to the airfield so they got to see us flying off and be part of the activities in the hangar, which made the day even more special.The catering was great throughout the day, so varied and there was something for everyone. The staff were very accommodating if there was anything you needed or wanted.Back to the flight experience itself, the Tiger Moth was awesome, a nice steady start to the day for us but really fun. Then the aerobatics and formation flight with the Blades towards the close of the day was just fantastic. I've never experienced anything like this before and it was way beyond what I could have imagined. I can't wait to take another flight.The display from the team was a great way to finish the day. You couldn't ask for more.It was non-stop fun from start to finish and I really couldn't recommend this highly enough. If you get a chance to try it out you definitely should.Thank you so much to you all for such an amazing day.

Wow what an experience my daughter in law and myself had with the Blades in Guernsey. The fog nearly denied us this thrill, but cleared at 4pm and up we went. Thanks must go to the whole team for their professional approach, talking through every manoeuvre, of which there where many, but special thanks to Andy and Ben our pilots, our grins from ear to ear says it all. Thank you for fulfilling my dream to come true. Look forward to you coming back in 2022.

This was a truly once in a lifetime experience. My wife and I had such a wonderful day with the Blades team. Everyone was so kind and so focused on our enjoyment (and safety). We were a bit nervous at first, but the pilots are the best of the best and we felt extremely comfortable once airborne. We highly recommend for everyone.

Excellent day out well looked after by staff on the ground as well as pilots flying us on the flight experience. Will be back for more when more money saved.If you are an Aviation enthusiast, this is the place to come. A lot happens on the advertised experience days.

The most incredible experience - I’m an adrenaline junkie at heart and this certainly surpassed anything I’ve ever done before. The acrobatics are terrifyingly exciting, and the skill of the pilots is second to none.On top of that, the hospitality of the entire blades team and the airfield as a whole is amazing. From the food and drinks, to the time spent talking to the guests to make them feel special, and everything in between...it’s a birthday I will never forget.Can’t wait to come back!Thanks guysGeorgia

10 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I cannot recommend this experience highly enough, it was a day that I will remember for my whole life. From the moment you arrive you (and your guest) are extremely well looked after by every member of staff, real VIP treatment.The F1 simulator is great, taking control of a helicopter is amazing and something not everyone can or has experienced.But the flight with the Blades is out of this world! You simply have to experience flying in these awesome planes with the World best pilots in formation 6-8ft apart...and then there are the barrel, aileron rolls (one slow, one fast!) then inverted flight and manoeuvres including a stall-turn and then a vertical aileron roll followed by a ‘Longchabach’ (Czech for ‘hangover’ apparently?! and more. Afterwards is the inch perfect private display at the end - where you can watch with a glass of Champagne and say “I’ve done that”. we also saw a Spitfire and other warbirds which are based at an adjacent hanger and it was certainly an ‘Unforgettable Flying Experience’ - I’d go again tomorrow if I could! How many people can say they’ve flown with an ex RAF and Red Arrows pilot - do it!

What an incredible experience! Even in these times of Covid - the team were all exceptional, ensuring each and everyone of us were having a great day. The flying experience is definitely something you should do if you love flying and are a bit of an adrenalin enthusiast. I have never felt anything like the G-force that was felt during some of the manoeuvres - and I loved every single moment! Thank you Blade1-Andy for making my flight so fantastic!

This the second time I've flown with you, the last time in 2013 and I think because I was more in tune with what we were going to experience I actually enjoyed it more this time; if that is possible!Please could you pass my sincere thanks to the whole team who certainly know how to run these events, so slick. Special thanks must go to Kirsty who’s such a pleasure to fly with, Kirsty put me so much at ease and as a result I was so relaxed right through the flight, thoroughly enjoying every single moment. I was so pleased to receive the video too giving me a permanent record of the experience that I can share with my family.First class!
