I’ve been coming to Arta for various alterations for years and I’ve been always happy with the result. My alterations are usually more complicated as it’s usually taking in various items, trousers, tops dresses, which is more complicated as it requires understanding the fabric and the cut and Arta always recommends the right way of doing it. There was an occasion that Arta suggested not to carry out an alteration and she explained why which in turn saved me money, rather than doing it anyway.

Arta, well what can I say a lovely, friendly , lady who can always provide a solution for whatever you want regarding alterations etcI have had so many things altered, repaired in over 10 years +, always perfectly done, if it's an Emergency repair, or last minute alterations for a holiday or special event it's not a problem and you know it will be perfect. My family wouldn't go anywhere else !5 ***** service everytime !!!

Second to none alterations every time! Arta is so good at listening and understanding exactly what I want. She never disappoints and I wouldn’t recommend anyone else!I’m 5”1 and I took her these white trousers in for taking up but I forgot to take my heels with me.She measured and pinned them without the heels and they are absolutely spot on! She’s just amazing and so talented at what she does!

I took a sequin dress to be altered as it was a little big in some areas, the lady was so kind and managed to fit me in with short notice. The dress now fits perfectly and looks amazing. Would definitely recommend!

Arta had a huge task in altering a jacket I had purchased at a David Bowie convention in the theme of a union jack having read the reviews I put my trust and faith in her and wow what an effort Iam so pleased with her work she truely is a very good tailor most unusual in today's world I will be singing her praises for a long time thank you Arta Iam a happy lady and will wear my jacket with a smile if you need any tailoring she is your lady

What a women... she’s a heart of gold, Iv used this store on several occasions now and always had a great service, Used recently last week took in two pairs of trousers to be shorted had them done in a day for me as I’m always last min, was going to London and needed them but somehow forgot to collect and didn’t get to the store in time before it closed... rang the mobile number and explained how much I needed my items for an occasion and the loverly lady came all the way back to meet me after hours I cannot thank her enough... I’m always last min taking my items in and the lady always accommodates me and has them back to me straight away... thank you

Absolutely wonderful service. The seamstress could not have been more helpful on a dress I wasn’t sure I could fix. She went above and beyond and I am extremely grateful it’s beautiful ❤️ Thank you so much

I have visited this shop twice in the past year, Marta is lovely and really reliable, not only that buy she works over her hours to ensure she can fit you in, her work is of a high standard and would happily recommend

Shortened sleeves on my Barbour jacket. Beautiful job, and a lovely person.

The lady is so friendly and personable. She was so patient with me trying in my dress figuring out what to do with it. It now fits and looks incredible. Great value. Fixed it up with short notice. I'll definitely be back.
