Service received from coroners department especially from Alison was second to none. Most helpful went out of her way to assist me in obtaining death certificate promptly. Can't thank Alison enough.

After my father passed away in March, he was kept at West London Coroners Court, and after reading the reviews, myself and my sister were anxious about him being there. He was a muslim, and we needed to fly him back to his home country as a matter of urgency to be buried. His family abroad were absolutely devastated that he wasn't with them, and every day that passed was an ordeal for them. We read the reviews, and were not feeling optimistic about how we would be treated in regards to getting my father home. Instead what we were met with was compassion, understanding, and a real will to help. Two members of staff (non muslims) went above and beyond to help us at such a difficult time. If it wasn't for them our family abroad would have suffered even more than they were already, and we, and them will be eternally grateful. I think staff there have a difficult job to do, and I hope that people experience the same positive experience with them that we did, as we were not a special case, but we found the reviews did not reflect our dealings with them.

Wonderful courteous service with utmost respect shown to loved ones of the deceased at a very difficult time. Always responded to emails and very helpful, giving information as and when needed. Couldn't have done more. Thank you.

Absolutely the worst service or lack of service I have ever come across. I have contacted WLC on several occasions and received absolutely no response what so ever. My father passed away in October, we had to wait almost 3 weeks for the decision from WLC to arrange the funeral so I was unable to see my father before hand. I have still not received the actual death certificate.......I've tried calling, emailing.......NOTHING!!!! This is such a difficult time which have been made a whole lot worse by West London Coroners. Frustrated and Angry! Jane Cameron

The staff were brilliant in helping us expedite the issuing of the death certificate. Thank you so much. I'm not sure why so many 1 stars but in our case Ealing Hospital were wrongly blaming the Coroner for the delay. Keep up the good work.

Nobody will respond to your phone call or your email. My mother died recently and they asked me for the details of the funeral home to send the body to. I have now emailed them twice and called multiple times to give them these details and nobody has picked up the phone or replied to my email. This is already a distressing time and they all they are doing is adding to it.

Appalling service, phone calls are not answered, no information provided. We had a call 10 days after my father's death to provide cause, but they haven't sent the paperwork to the registrar so we still can't obtain a death certificate to sort out pensions, banks etc, even though the coroner said it would be there the next day. Got to number 1 in the queue then went to 3rd! I think they forget they have to deal with the living as well, such a lack of compassion!!I don't actually want to give them a star rating as they don't deserve anything g but I can't post this without selecting one.

My brother Rashid passed on 18/03/2022. Sadly he passed at home and for this reason the coroner’s were involved.Neville Sinclair was the coroner assigned to liaise with my family. I cannot thank Neville for his kind approach and his understanding. He was very informative and true to his words as I had direct contact with him. My brother passed on Friday and on the same day Neville was able to communicate with our family GP, so to get the process of whether an examination was required or not. As a family and of Muslim faith we were keen to have the body released asap. On Monday 21/03/2022 morning, I had a telephone conversation with Neville and he assured me that he would have the paperwork processed and signed off so the funeral directors could collect my late brother’s remains from Uxbridge public mortuary. As soon as the paperwork was signed off again I was in direct contact with Neville via his mobile. My brother’s body was collected and his funeral took place on 23/03/2022. Also to note, I was put in touch with the registrars so to register the death, the number to call was provided by Neville. This guy is a gem and I will never forget his approach and his kindness. Thank you Neville. The Gani family.

Please accept our gratitude and realise that your hard work that you do tirelessly is truly appreciated. We are grateful for your help and kind support over the past two years (delayed by Covid-19) and have come to understand how hard your role is. During the actual inquest at the Coroners court we were very impressed by the professional manner you conducted the hearing, your attention to detail and consideration was remarkable and shows how much you care about the families and the circumstances of how their loved ones died. We are also very thankful to staff for their kindness and support in helping through emails and information and documents.May God Bless you all for your kindness and all the valuable service you provide and wishing you every success for a happy, safe and successful future.
