Great Rapid Charging Hub.A bit on the £££ pricy side but still cheaper than a couple of rapid charger companies (InstaVolt / GeniePoint)!!

Very convenient charging station. Was able to get on one with my Nissan Leaf straightaway. I'd previous looked this up on the Internet and it came across that it accepted contact less payments, however when there it appears none of my contactless bank cards would work therefore that was for member cards. You can. However go to their website, use your bank card and remotely activate charging. Took me about 5 minutes to get the charging started.

Great little place to charge up, with a range of chargers to suit all vehicles. However, spaces are limited and the price can be quite expensive.All chargers are generally well maintained and work correctly

Excellent place to fast charge and easy to use with either the card or the app. Really convenient for the city centre or a walk along the riverside while charging, which probably won't take long due to the availability of fast chargers up to 350 kw.

Sunderland introduces the UK’s first purpose-built high-power fast charging station.Designed to accommodate all fully-electric vehicles including Tesla models, a typical fully-electric vehicle will be able to charge for 350 miles in just 20 minutes with the 350 kW charging capacity.Four 50 kW fast chargers and two 175 kW fast chargers enabled for 350 kW charging, the fastest charging rate in the country. A solar panel canopy provides 100 per cent renewable electricity.Charging will be initially be free, with payment with a charge card, debit or credit card, Apple Pay and Android Pay to be introduced later in the year.

Still on free vend, well placed parking to suit every EV. Good signage on the chargers to point out the 43kW AC type 2 is for Renault Zoe only (although didn't stop this black leaf from using it before I turned up!)Will accept contactless cards for payment when the free charging stops later this year, or you will be able to use the app and/or a subscription, so something for everyone really.

Good selection of fast chargers. Perfect if you need a quick full charge in a short period of time.There's even a nice little walk by the river just up from the charging station you can go on to stretch your legs while you wait!

Faaaaaaaastned. Fast but nothing nearby in the way of facilities. Arrive with snacks and an empty bladder and you will be fine.

Quick charge. Reliable app. Easy venue to get too. Tend to sit in the car whilst charging or I have a wander along the monkwearmouth bridge and along the Riverside

One of the 350kw chargers out of order the app didn't report this beforehand but apparently update will fix this in future otherwise a really great facility it's nice to have a canopy! this is indeed the future well done Fastned please expand further around the UK
