Matt and Hannah at First Mortgage were great. We where able to have all our meeting online and they kept us up to date with everything at each step. Hannah was very good with chaseing up with the estate agents and solicitors when needed. We would recomend the service.

We used First Mortgage to get mine and my partners first joint mortgage together. Andrew S and Susan H explained everything to us throughout the process and answered any questions we had. They also quickly made amendments to the mortgage due to a change in the property we were purchasing. Sue regularly checked in with us whilst we were waiting for our completion date which was much appreciated. We cannot thank Sue and Andrew enough for their great service.

From Day 1, they had been very helpful and were very responsive to all queries. Special mention to Hannah Hide, my case manager. She was very professional and approachable. I will always be grateful to her for going above and beyond my expectations - always updates me with everything that is happening regarding the purchase process. Although she’s also dealing with other cases and busy, she makes sure that she checks in and gets in touch regularly to ensure that all my concerns were addressed. She knew how I was not happy with my solicitor’s service so she stepped in numerous times and became the middle person chasing them up on my behalf. It also helped eased my worries that she was always there to listen to my rants and concerns about issues from other parties. It does make a difference talking to someone you know who is genuinely concern and willing to help! She and Matthew sorted my insurances also, including name change on both the mortgage application and the policies, which could be a bit of a pain especially when offer and quotes were already provided or produced. But she was very patient and assisted me well through out. Hannah also referred me to the moving hub which was such a big help with sorting our utilities to the new house. Again one less thing to worry about! I would have struggled massively if Hannah hadn’t been that supportive and helpful especially with some delays we faced caused by the seller’s onward purchase. Excellent customer service from Hannah! Absolutely top notch!! Highly recommended firm especially for a no cost service!

I would highly recommend First Mortgage. I have used their services twice - for purchasing a flat five years ago and purchasing a house with my girlfriend last month. Both times First Mortgage have been excellent: providing a great range of options for both mortgages and various types of insurance, completing paperwork in a timely manner and having regular catch ups over both email and the phone. I shall be using them again in 18 months time when we need to re mortgage. Tom
