From the moment we walked in we felt valued by Adam. He very kindly coached us through removing our old fireplace, ready for the works. It's clear he loves his job and kept our budget in mind with the vision we had.I would 100% recommend Wakefords to anyone thinking about getting a stove, I'm almost gutted it's all over but we couldn't be happier with the outcome.Wakefords has a wide range of stoves and mantels to cater to everyone's taste.The work was completed quicker than we thought and within the price range we expected.They supplied and fitted a granite hearth and a Fireline Woodtec 5 stove.

Adam Wakeford was responsive, competitive, knowledgeable, helpful, clear and concise. I removed the old fireplace and prepared the chamber. Wakeford's supplied a beautiful new wood burning stove and organised the fitting. All done hassle free!!

Everything was fantastic, from start to finish. We didn't have a clue where to begin and had been to a few places prior to going to Wakeford's and then we found Adam and his team! Adam patiently talked us through options and guided us through the process from start to finish. The fitter, Alex, was great, as was Simon who helped with accessing the chimney. All involved were punctual, friendly, professional and very respectful of our home in terms of cleanliness, all while being very personable! I would definitely recommend Wakeford's, along with Alex and Simon and of course, not forgetting Claire, with her additional support on the day. I really pushed for a pre-Christmas installation which Adam understood and I am now delighted with our festive and cosy looking fireplace. Thank you to all at Wakeford's.

The whole team at Wakeford Fireplaces were excellent with their advice and communication through to installation. Alex, our installer was great on fitting day, friendly, tidy and explained how to operate the new fire before leaving. Highly recommended!

Wakeford's Fireplaces & Stoves
Adam and his team installed a new wood burner earlier this year for us, they were very efficient, professional and left no mess. With the colder weather we have now started using it and have to say it far exceeds our expectations from having an open fire we knew it would be better, but my heating bill has dropped considerably this Autumn as it is capable of moving the heat to other areas of the house while leaving the lounge nice and snug. I would definitely recommend Wakeford’s who we now used on 3 occasions over the years.

Adam and has team installed a new log burner and created new chimney breast in our lounge. They were extremely helpful in helping us design the look we were after and the end results looks fantastic. We would definitely recommend them.

A new log effect gas fire installed into an existing limestone fireplace. We initially were looking at a real fire but Adam was helpful in discussing all the pluses and minuses. He could have sold us a more expensive product but didn’t and that says a lot. Installation was first class too and we are delighted with the fire and service.

Brilliant service. We had some restrictions, due to the age of our house, on the type of fire that would work and received lots of great practical advice for choosing the correct fire and fireplace for us. Very professional installation with real attention to detail. We are so happy with the fire and fireplace: it has transformed our lounge.

What an amazing company. Adam has been brilliant from start to finish. He wasn’t pushy or trying the hard sell, he just explained everything clearly and is just genuinely friendly and extremely knowledgeable. The after sales has been great too, as we have had some questions and Adam has always been quick with all of his responses. On the actual day of installation, Mark and Alex were incredibly professional and extremely tidy. It was a totally stress-free experience and I honestly can’t rate them highly enough. Before purchasing, we got a few quotes from different companies and found that Wakefords were actually the cheapest, but the service and quality of products that we have received have all been second to none. We are so pleased that we chose Wakefords and couldn’t be happier with our fireplace.
