I was unfortunate enough to have a false allegation of a very serious criminal charge brought against me recently. A friend directed me to sternberg reed who appointed Richard Cooper as my solicitor. He, along with the folks in their office, could not have been more attentive with me and my case. They turned what I thought would be a complicated nightmare into a fairly straight forward process. All communication from them was clear and concise, and gave me some form of comfort during a very stressful time of my life. They gave me time and cared about me as an individual, made sure I was properly prepared for my trial, appointed me an excellent barrister to represent me in crown court, and ultimately, made sure justice was done as their experience and professionalism helped me to be found not guilty by a jury on all counts.I don’t know what I would’ve done without the people at Sternberg Reed and am truly thankful for their care and advice during an incredibly harrowing experience. I would recommend them to anyone who finds themselves in a similar situation.

Got the impression that the solicitor l spoke to was not interested, she was not helpful at all and a bit snobbish. I will not recommend them at all.

I have written this many, many times, (weeks) trying to shorten, the depth of appreciation owed to an incredible woman named Dee and her exceptional team behind her at Sternberg Reed, Grays.I have been wrongly accused, guilty by association & at the wrong place, wrong time. Never experienced this world of prison/courts before but they understood it and took it to a whole new level. Some cases 3 years long at court every few months.All questions answered explained in depth, & investigated to the highest level on every case i had and also friends/family that i referred.When the odds are against you and you think your too late to fight it & prove your innocence (given up & accepted losses) they pull the rabbit out the hat.There just normal people like you and me, but in that courtroom was a team that fights every step of the way. They do not back down and fear no one in the courts.After winning all my cases and the way that I was treated, The only words I can say is I was treated like I was a member of their familyThank you from my family to yours

Great experience and great results was represented by Dee. Kept updated constantly via post and phone call. Explained to me all the stages and at the end a very successful result which no one thought was possible.However with Dee it was possible. Apparently incapable of replying to multiple enquiries sent via their own website contact form, or via email, over months. So I can only presume they are either lacking basic manners, or simply incapable of answering their own enquiries, or both, neither of which enamours me to them, particularly as I specifically wrote to them as a person in dire need of legal help, as a sick, disabled woman already being bullied by both the corrupt police and my prejudiced neighbours, needing help with a judicial review, which they should be well aware has a three month time limit, and they TOTALLY IGNORED my enquiry EVERY SINGLE TIME. I had also made enquiries previously regarding writing a will, since this situation will inevitably lead to my death, and once again, this firm, TOTALLY IGNORED, my enquiries, both via their web contact form and email, EVERY SINGLE TIME.Many thanks for making an excruciatingly difficult and stressful time even more so, and making someone who is clearly already invisible to justice feel even more so. It's firms like yours and non actions like yours that leave people like me in this situation, when they need not have ever been. 'Legal Assistance' like this is exactly why the bullies exist, and why they prevail.Update - I forwarded my enquiry as requested below (repeatedly), and they COMPLETELY IGNORED me YET AGAIN. Not even a courtesy email to let me know they could not help me. Just totally ignored. So I would suggest the response below is more an attempt to negate this review, and make themselves look better than they actually are, (since ignoring me in private obviously has no consequence for them, and they knew this public review would have), than any real attempt to assist me, and frankly an appalling one, bearing in mind the manner in which my enquiries have already been 'dealt' with. Thanks for the further reminder of my non importance to your company Sternberg Reed, and the appalling attempt to use my review to redeem yourselves, whilst STILL ignoring me.When I then finally gave up altogether and was forced to contact their staff directly, as opposed to via their clearly non existent admin team, I was then told to go 'elsewhere' and then blatantly ignored, presumably because I'd left them a negative review. Isn't it lucky this is just a solicitors and NOT a company you might be RELYING on for something TIMELY and IMPORTANT? Imagine if your WHOLE FUTURE depended on these people, and this is how they treated you?If this company spent ANY actual time dealing with the clearly serious issue they have replying to queries (some 15 emails and online enquiry forms by my last count, totally ignored), and less time apparently penalising clients for pointing out that clear and serious issue, maybe they wouldn't end up with reviews like this.

Dee Kaur at Sternberg Reed, represented a family member in what was a very complicated and sensitive case, Her professionalism and attention to detail was fantastic, and we were always kept abreast of developments and changes, All in all a favourable outcome was achieved. I would strongly recommend Dee to anyone who needs legal representation. Thank you Dee once again.
