this review is partially the reason as to why i shop at tescos. my family have been targeted by this one lady. and once i shopped and was buying alcohol and i didn’t have id on me. so proceeded to take away the alcohol although i have tattoos on my face. is an under 18 year old allowed tattoos on their face ? i think not. i am not happy with the costumer service.

By far the best Sainsbury's in Pulborough, I always like to go here when I am on holiday. Fortunately, this year I was staying nearby and was able to get there in the blink of an eye.I very much enjoy the available produce, including an array of delights which are free from Gluten - from cake to bread to beer to pasta and back to cake.By far my most favourite thing about this supermarket is the staff. They are always happy to help, to find something for you and all the while, they communicate in song. I particularly appreciated Janet's directions to the grapes, to the tune of We Will Rock You.Highly recommended.

Fruit and veg section always seems to smell unpleasant for some reason. Staff tend to prefer chatting to themselves than helping out customs I’ve noticed. Always a plan B if no luck at the better Tescos nearby

A few years ago I would have given this store 5 stars and then they closed the checkouts and, at least when I go, the checkouts are never manned and all customers have to use those horrible self service check out machines. The machine always rejects my shopping bag and so I have had enough, Mr Sainsbury, and am going elsewhere. Your penny pinching has lost you this customer.

Good for quick visits. It's about a third the size of a normal sainsburys but all the essentials are covered. There is plenty of free parking and I've never had any trouble finding a space. The staff are friendly too.
