For the last 7 years, I have given CV and careers advice to attendees at the BFRS National Careers Events around the UK. During that time, I have watched the BFRS team grow and excel, whilst delivering first class service to the Armed Forces Community. No-one can fault their professionalism and passion for helping ex-military personnel and their families to connect with employers and make a smooth transition, either into a new career in civvy street or their next step on the career ladder. They truly understand the needs of the AFC. If you get the opportunity to attend one of these events, go. If you don;t, you'll be missing out.

The company I work for have worked closely with BFRS for many years now. We pride ourselves on employing ex-military personnel and a great amount have found us via BFRS events. BFRS staff are very down to earth, friendly, professional and will go that extra mile to make sure that you feel welcomed.

Think this was really good just think the military and leaving and civi jobs needs to work better together as both can fail and could be left jobless it’s a big decision to leave and needs to be a 100% both sides.

I have been involved with BFRS for several months as they have been assisting us a media partner in the publicising of the Army's first team to row the Atlantic Ocean (team Force Atlantic). From the start, they have been a proactive and forward leaning organisation. Quick to spot an opportunity and great at networking and connecting people - our reach and support base has expanded greatly thanks to their support. I find their magazine particularly useful - informative and a great reference tool that connects civilian employers to military personnel. Big thumbs up from me!!
