Feversham Arms Hotel & Verbena Spa

My daughter and I went for a spa experience with overnight stay. The room was amazing, the service was excellent and the spa had everything we needed. I would love to go back

We stayed in the spa suite it was a lovely room with lounge area, balcony & bedroom. We had lunch in the restruant & really enjoyed the food, staff were very professional & friendly. Our room looked over the church. We didn't have time to use the spa this time but will definitely come back & book some treatment. Great relaxing place to Stay.

Hotels my family and I have been lucky enough to visit and stay in delightful customer service, gorgeous food spa and swimming pool and hot tub. All great rooms. Great bar great staff great what more would you want in Lovely quaint Helmsley

We had a lovely stay, beautiful room, lovely staff, spa facilities are really nice, it is in the heart of the town, find it hard to find a fault,I think at peak times the Jacuzzi may be too small, but apart from that it is definitely worth going,

Only a short stop using one of their meeting rooms for a few hours, very pleasant service and standards, can't comment on prices as we were guests

A gem of a place. Staff were all very professional, friendly and nothing was a bother. We enjoyed a full spa day here. Treatments, lunch and ofcourse the pool is lush. Will definitely return

We had really high hopes for the spa/food demonstration experience and unfortunately it wasn’t met. The food demo, while the chef was very knowledgable, he seemed pretty unenthusiastic and felt very disorganised. Following the food demo was lunch which was pretty average again. We then went on to the spa/treatment space. The sauna/aromatherapy and steam rooms are extremely small, with the jacuzzi space being dominated by other guests for hours which meant it was unusable to others. I paid £120 for an average massage which is shocking. It was a real disappointment on that front. The location is lovely, Helmsley is charming however the elements we actually paid for where pretty poor. I wouldn’t recommend, you can get far better for your money.

An enjoyable stay. The staff were great and the general atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. The rooms were a bit tired and the WiFi was useless. Gluten free options available but not as good as I'd expect (cereal had run out and no GF sausages). Pool starting to look a bit worn but reception area and bar etc all immaculate. Would definitely stay again although we didn't eat in the hotel because the restaurant was quite pricey (70 pp). Helmsley is lovely. It gets quite busy at the weekends and the square of full of motorbikes. The castle is worth a visit as is the walled garden and the raptor place.

Visited the spa here for the second time. Service and experience were excellent both times. We'd booked the half day spa experience - arrived at 10 for a 90 min body scrub/facial and then on to a one course lunch with glass of prosecco and then just relaxed on the sofas and in the heat experience. Lovely way to spend a few hours. The staff were all friendly and attentive.

The feversham arms is lovely hotel with excellent food that is some of the best I've ever had. It's let down by the fact that the attention to detail in the rooms is a bit lacking. The bath had a tide mark, the shower was slow and lot of the nozzles were blocked. The door handle to the room was loose with screws coming out. Not really what you expect at this level of Hotel.The staff have been excellent, very courteous and friendly.The spa and treatment area was really nice and although it rained during our stay we still managed to make use of every facility.In fact swimming in the rain was really nice.
