Millennium Bridge
Has become a bit of an icon of the quays over the years. Elegantly designed bridge that gets plenty of foot traffic (you can feel it bouncing when there's a few people walking across). Still functional for shipping too as when necessary the entire bridge section lifts straight up to allow ships to pass underneath, although this doesn't happen much these days.

Just like the one on the other side of Salford Quays, this is a beautiful bridge. Great for its design and connection between Old Trafford and Salford Quays across the canal.

Millennium Bridge
Peir 9 under this bridge is the stop for manchester river cruises. Had a great time on a super 8 pound boat trip going up the waterways around the quays with a guided tour. Fab day out. Beverages on board and very relaxing. interesting experience
