Belfast Bay

What is there to say?I don't think I have every had anything like this before, the infusion of flavour, spices and herds makes this the best Somali food I have every had.From the warm and vibrant Beef Suqaar with malawah to the aptly named BB's special, a dish to die for and a must have if you ever visit. Belfast Bay has truely set themselves a mile above other restaurants. From the warm greeting atmosphere, and the excellent staff who through out my time there were fantastic. The value for money is fabulous and I left wishing that I could have sampled more of their exquisite menu especially their amazing looking sambosas and basbousa.I will be sure to visit Belfast Bay in a heart beat next time I am near the Lisburn Road.I wish the owners the best in their journeys to become a must visit spot in Belfast. Thank you so much for a fabulous meal.

Really really good, fresh vibrant flavors, interesting combos and reasonable prices, will absolutely be back. If you want something a little different you must give this s try.

One of the best kabsa i've ever tested

I ordered the Fish Mandi and it was superb! It was a pleasant surprise to open the bag and see a whole fish given to me rather than just a fillet. It reminded me of home so much. Great flavour and lovely accompaniments!

The service is extremely slow. Once we entered, the waiter was nowhere to be seen. Took about 15 minutes just to get the menu. Once we ordered, even though the waiter wrote down all the items we ordered he somehow managed to mess it up really bad. And once the food arrived, the waiter had no idea which dish was which. Horrible customer service. Only giving it a 2 star as the Lamb mandi was very nice. Atmosphere also not the best.
